FUUCCCCKKK YESSSS!! Toonami is back, and a new season of the Boondocks is on the way...which might be more than a coincidence, now that I think on it. Adult Swim is killing it.

It's not. Part of the Upfront is announcing shows that are returning. It's been known we'd be looking at Season 4 since Spring 2011, we were just waiting on Adult Swim to comment.

I went to work and came home to find not only is Toonami back but Boondocks season 4. I expect to see a Chris Brown episode and an episode about WSHH.

Eh, I loved the Catcher Freeman ep but you can't really make a followup on it, it's a very self-contained story. The whole beauty was that it was the legend of this one guy told from three very different viewpoints. So what would you do next? Write a second story told from the same viewpoints?

And I'm wondering if it's even possible to continue Stinkmeaner. I know those episodes are popular so Aaron'll probably find a way, but that third seemed so conclusive. You fight Stinkmeaner, you fight him again when he comes back from the dead, and then you fight his crew. I mean what next??

I really hope we get some actual info on this soon, because the VAs have made no attempt at even trying to hide the fact that it was coming back for over a year now so I guess the news doesn't do as much for me as it should.

I wish Aaron was a bit more in touch with his fanbase like he (somewhat) was until the beginning of Season 3. I'd love to know when to expect a trailer, hopefully news on Caesar (ACTUAL news this time, not fakeass news from a VA claiming to voice him) and even word on it airing this year.

Publick's been very quiet on his blog, but it's already been mentioned that the next season starts next January. Also, I see that there's a Halloween special this year animated by Titmouse. Probably just a 15 minute one though like the Christmas special though

Also, did any one else know they'd started a new season of Metalocolypse weeks ago? I just found out.

Yeah Season 3 was a supreme return to form in my opinion. I feel like with Season 2 Aaron forgot what people saw in the show and just started making his shit as ignorant as the stuff he meant to parody. Then there's shit like the Usher episode that I'd never want to watch again.

I can't emphasize this enough. I reaaaallly wanna see Caesar...

I think it made sense that he wasn't in Season 1 but he definitely should've been in Season 2. The crew said they couldn't find the right actress but that they have an episode written for him anyway.

Hyped for this. Despite John Witherspoon spilling the beans last year on a new season, I was still really skeptical about this happening.

Well Regina King spilled the beans a second time in March, and talked a bit about the movie.

I just wish we could've been given even the slightest bit of info.

GOOD NEWS - new boondocks, the return of toonami, and a new venture bros special, Cleveland show coming to as next year!

BAD NEWS - more live action bullshit, another new name for ATHF, and animated series for both Harold and kumar, and black dynamite, yet no (again) to one for Scott pilgrim.

I don't know if I'm more happy or saddened by this news...

did you not like the premiere or something? I didn't even know a scott pilgrim show was in the talking, I probably would of enjoyed that more than harold and kumar which I didn't know was in the talking as well lol.

Exactly, ever since the small 5 min piece titmouse did for the movie, people have been clamoring for a SP series on the adult swim message boards. They even showed said posts on several bumps, with the response, "Hmmmm...". Even Bryan Lee O Malley said that no talks have occured since then (was kinda hoping that they have something new on the side to go along with the new color editions of the series).

Again, no hate against the other 2, it's just kinda of a "WTF, where did this come from?" view to me at least...

Man I love this show, but what others are saying is right. Some episodes are megaton amazing and some are boring. I guess the boring ones are average but just seem lesser because they aren't as good. Anyway FUCK YESSSSS!! Let's Kidnap Oprah and The Red Ball are some of the best TV I've ever witnessed.
