Thus the emphasis I placed on "little". There's a LOT of details, fictional and otherwise, I cheerfully tune out of Halo and other games (and real life) according to my preferences. In a teeny, tiny way, it's subtractive a bit for me, as I liked the ideas of actual Spartans busily killing one another for flags and frags, rather than a simulation. There's an absurdity to the concept that is lost when the mode is formalized as a training exercise. I wish it was not so. But when it comes time to play, you are correct and it will matter not one bit. This is a decidedly minor quibble, but I wanted to mention it at least once; I do not plan to belabor it at all.

On the other end of the spectrum, they did essentially the same to Firefight, which was an abstract "mission" to sit around and kill a bunch of Covenant. For Halo 4 they removed it and created a new co-op mode set firmly in the fiction, with a mission progression and a narrative to follow. Which I very much appreciate and think will add greatly to the mode. On the whole, seating the multiplayer modes in the game will be additive for me.

I think it makes AvP look good by comparison.

Alien 3 is not a good film, but my primary objections are to the direction it veers in. The premise, story and conclusion are just absurd and do not logically follow from the stories Scott and Cameron built. It feels like the creators of Alien 3 disliked those stories and hastily discarded all they could of them, making it feel like bad fanfic rather than a sequel.

Cmon man. AVP is literally the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. Like even worse than shitty Netflix Instant Queue movies I force myself to watch out of boredom. Total shitfest.

I watched a worse one last night. And one last week, for that matter. The Netflix recommendations for me say very unkind things about my late night streaming habits.

Watching Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Irreversible on Netflix bring up some very questionable suggestions.

Also, back to Halo, HOW THE HELL ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DOWNLOAD MAPS AND GAMETYPES ANYMORE. Customs are looking GRIM.

Edit: nvm, just realized it has to all be done in-game. This will be fun. -_________________-

You clearly haven't seen AvP-R. Its worse.

But my main beef with Resurrection is that it is a main-line Alien universe movie, and it is just campy and cheesy as hell, and throws basically everything that made those movies good away. It really never should have happened. AvP is awful, but at least its a spin-off and I don't have to think of it as 'cannon'. Resurrection probably killed any chance Alien had for a 5th movie, and Prometheus will be the closest we will get. Which is fine, but I want a new Xenomorph movie.

Seems to think the 2 primary weapon perk is OP.
Says CoD fans will like it. Halo fans might not like it as much.
Says the ordnance is independent of kills... claims to be random (I wonder if its a timed thing?)

Monday can't come soon enough.

Where are you from? Usually customs happened at a good hour (in the US) for everyone. It's kinda late, I don't feel like playing.

Beast coast. And I figured whoever wants to join, can. This isn't Official HaloGAF Customs or anything, but we've had decent turnouts when we've done it before.
