Game just looks so fucking good. So can't wait for Nov 6th to drop my 100 bucks on that LE.

Who has the new avatars for more hype ?

It is really understandable that people feel that this was scripted a bit too much, because it was. The thing about it though is that you can’t really show sandbox elements in such a short time, which is needed actually to be more a hype trailer then an actual walkthrough.

What they showed clearly show a very much Halo like structure in gameplay and design but having their own stamp on it. The sandbox steels feels intact and you can clearly see when playing that you will have more options.

Am I the only one who was really disappointed with the Campaign gameplay? It was basically a corridor with a shitton of scripting.

I wasn't disappointed, it's something I mentioned as a point of concern but I'm sure that's just because it's in a heavy story point for the game. I'm not too worried but I would like to see some campaign gameplay with vehicles in an open area.

Seeing them side by side though, holy shit 4 looks awesome.

Ubisoft's conference immediately overclassed Microsoft's in the shittyness department, and it's only been going on for two minutes.

Well played, Ubisoft.

Huh, Aisha Tyler is hosting.

Spire and boneyard I can agree with but zealot? I thought it was one of the better on disc maps.

I actually don't mind it as much without the low-grav area. Was actually going to leave that out.

It took quite a while before people were prevented from camping the top though.

Hopefully the DLC packs won't be 8 months apart... 10 makes me sad but I'm looking forward to hearing more about the Forge maps/environments. Just wish we were talking 15 maps plus Forge...

The Good
+ The atmosphere and graphical fidelity were gasp-worthy.
+ New weapon animations (particularly Forerunner weapons) made me feel powerful just from observing the gameplay.
+ The alien music made me feel like I was watching the direct sequel to Halo: CE.
+ The Warthog looked and sounded like it was a heavy piece of machinery. Hopefully no more floaty vehicle physics.

The Questionable
? The blue enemies from the sizzle reel reminded me of the flying bad guys from Borderlands.
? Several moments that appeared to be QTEs. (It would be amazing if they only happened because you were surprised. If the second time you played through the game and knew what was going to happen, you could kill them before they reached you.)

The Bad
- No campaign vehicle footage.
- It was over too soon.

Maybe there are multiple maps within different environments. Like that snow map we saw could have a BTB map set in that area and a totally different arena map in that same area.

Fuck. I think I'm back to the Limited Edition again. Damn the live action and campaign for making me change my earlier decision.

Halo 3 looks good still, though. IMO. Of these pics, i prefer Halo 3's looks actually, slightly colder colors and cleaner HUD (Halo 4 HUD seems to have something in the middle, or is it mist?) are slightly better.
