Nah. It's the Platinum Games cycle. Everything they make turns out to be fucking awesome but gets a lot of skepticism when it's initially unveiled. I have confidence that it'll be a good game.

I still hope Kamiya's doing something other than this, though.

Well they are launching this year, but Reggie said all the stuff they showed, including this game, is launch window. So between this, NSMB, and Pikmin 3 the launch won't be terrible at least.
