I don't know it has been mentioned. the nintendo US site doesn't seem to have Gamepad spec(or I just can't find it). The Japanese site has the specs for gamepad.

The interesting thing was that it takes 2 hours and 30 minute to charge the gamepad, and it runs 3-5 hours depending on the birghtness of the gamepad screen.

Edit: yes, the site does say you can play while you are charging.

It's a tablet Display that requires a constantly on WiFi connection to use, so that number is not surprising. Hopefully there is a also a PS3-esque plugin cable option.

Now I see why the introduced the Pro controller. I was more than ok with the tablet pad because it had all the buttons a hardcore gamer needs, but only 3 hours? Go fuck yourselves with that. I'll be using nothing but the pro pad now.

Well I hope it has a wired option than, which I don't think is guranteed either. Does the Pro controller connect directly to the system or through the Wii-Pad..?

3-5 hours, with 2.5h wait in between?

The fail that just keeps failing

Well, in all fairness, you can presumably use it while it's charging.

It does kind of defeat the purpose of it being wireless to begin with, but it's nice to have the option of not being tethered instead of having no option.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Not a huge deal. Probably recharges on the stand.

Everybody went ape about 3DS/Vita charging time and not once have I had one drop out on me while playing through a session.

Haha, what the fuck? I wasn't too down on it before, just lost some interested at launch but that has to be a joke.

This is probably be the permanent solution for hardcore peeps.

Meh, it'll have a charging cradle (i presume) so it'll just be a case of placing it down when you're done with the system.
