Yaaay, 9/27 marked on my calendar. I hope they show the game's new look soon! They said it looks much, much better now than it did before.

Probably it'll have connections with Idolmasters 2 on PS3.

So strange to see Famitsu leak being so early.

... I kinda worry that the port won't be much better than the Wiimake, though.

We actually don't know. We know that Sony won't allow PSP remasters to be sold on their own, but I don't know if that also extends to PS2 games. If it does, then Squenix is in a lot of trouble with FFX HD.

At retail? Yeah but after the two RE collections, Capcom will probably just release it straight to PSN anyway. I'm psyched for Okami HD though, it'll be the first Capcom game I've bought since Miles Edgeworth.

Well, I guess Falcom thinks "If we're only going to sell 10k, might as well try to make as much money from it as we can" in regards to the Ys price.

Idom@ster Gravure For You will be remote play compatible with Vita. You'd think with HD models they'd want to extend that creeper love, but meh.

Why are people surprised at the Ys price?

It's 1000yen lower than your average Bandainamco/SquareEnix PSP game that releases at 8000yen. Same price as most PSP games from other publishers.

Well, assuming Capcom doesn't fuck Okami up, which would honestly be shocking for them at this point.

But Ys. Guaranteed quality.

Well, Ys Seven was 6090 for the standard edition, 7980 for the LE bundle. So this price might be the LE one.

PSP/DS/3DS games are priced at 6279Y at most. There are a few exceptions (SRWZ2, FFT-0 at >7000Y) but that certainly isn't the norm.

Atlus and now Falcom have increased their prices by 1000Y with the jump to Vita.

Or it might just be that it's a bigger budget production, so the price gets an increase. Falcom was definitely selling their games on the low side of the spectrum if Ys Seven was 6000yen. Now they're just joining the big publishers in pricing.


Anyhow, glad Ys4r has a date. Hopefully the new famitsu has pictures of the game since Falcom said that visually the game would look very different the next time we see it.

DS/3DS games, sure. Most of the major PSP games (aka, titles worth caring about) have been 6800yen+ for a while now. Then again almost everything I buy these days is published by BandaiNamco and they are greedy.

Wow so that Okami HD rumour was true. I wonder if this is a remaster like the HD collections or just PS2 classics on PSN (like God Hand)?
I would hope for the first but I can't imagine Capcom spending that much on Okami.

Nice! Never played Okami so I'm pretty excited for the remastering.

Nice score for Black 2 & White 2. How does it compare to the original Black & White?
