lmao, at the part in Leon's section where this guy is
helping his daughter walk,
her leg is clipping through his.

SMH.

dunno if spoiler tags are needed or not, using just to be safe =/

360 BH5 had a lot of tearing so this is nothing new. Disappointing, though.

no, it didnt.

Then I will gladly take tips on how to detect it, lmao. I want to be able to fairly judge this =/

no you dont. its horrible. be glad if you dont notice it.

I don't know why but I didn't come across this much screen tearing when I was playing it at their offices in London, on the 360 version :\ Hopefully it's just the build.

god, let's hope so.

Everything I've seen from this game makes me disappointed. I will continue to play Revelations/RE4 and pretend RE5/RE6 don't exist. Oh, and that is some nasty tearing. Gross.

Just noticed tearing while riding in the elevator..starting to see it more now.

I had been getting a headache playing this, but I hadn't noticed anything on the screen, so I didn't think it was the demo's fault.

Also, I love how Leon can do all these fancy kicks and throws, but once he gets a knife in his hand, all he can do is slash, lol. I'm sure its the same way for everyone though.

Regenerating health is definitely a poor choice. But obvs. it goes hand in hand with the series becoming more and more action oriented so are we really that surprised?

health regen huh?

hm.

Yeah. It did. It is the main reason I only play the PS3 or PC version of the game now. V-Sync is disabled on the 360 version.

we're going to have to disagree here unless your definition of "a lot of tearing" is vastly different from mine. im usually very sensitive to screen tearing and i do not remember it being much of an issue at all during the 100+ hours i spent playing the game.

The system that is employed in RE6 to regenerate health allows you to take more risks. At least that's how it worked in Resistance 2, where your health perked up in a similar manner.

I have no problem with this change.

I take back my last post, Jake has some pretty cool hand to hand moves, but idk about this game still..not sure if I really want to drop some money on it :/

You can still combine herbs together. I found green and red herbs so far.

I hate how Chris takes up 3/4 of the screen when you aim at something. Those flying moth monsters don't have much feedback to bullets so you don't know if you are hitting them or not.

Bullets don't seem to have an impact on anything. It's like poking through meringue.

My god does this game look awful. What a shame.

Resident Evil is just not what it use to be anymore. I think I will just wait for the superior PC version with custom mods because the camera is just god damn awful.

So much hyperbole over this. It is not regenerating health. It regenerates a single block of health if that particular block is slightly damaged, the level of damage varies depending on enemy and attack. It is ridiculously minor.

Okay. Well that's better than I feared.

No.

Thank you was about to post this myself.

Playing with VGA and there is tearing.

So far only played Leon and Jake, and I like it, but there is something wrong, the camera or the controls, when you walk, run or aim, I don't know it feels weird.

It's nice that you can use the RE4 aim mode.

drunk Chris is hilarious

the camera is kind of weird, I had a lot of trouble orientating myself and actually seeing my surroundings

I didn't mind the Chris or Jake sections. The Leon section was kind of a whole lot of nothing, though.

I found I was running out of ammo often. I had a really hard time extracting information from the game. Weird.

Okay I beat all 3 parts.

Some random info :

-Waypoints show the exit but also the location of guns. For instance, in Jake/Sherry's part there is a magnum on a shelve and it will appear as a waypoint.

-You can collect treasure like RE4/RE5 but they are worth skill points instead

-Health regenerate like ME3. If you lose a full health square that square won't regenerates but as long as it's not fully depleted it will regenerate

-The adrenaline shots fromm RE5 are back but here you can at least crawl away or fire while near death

-Basic green herbs pill refill 1 square but the red + green combo heals more

-Enemies drop ammo randomly like RE4/RE5

-There will be annoying part with an AI partner for sure. For example, in Chris' demo there is an event where you must mash X to cross a long pole while the second player must shoot a wave of enemies coming at you.

-Aiming is clunky in this build if you only chose to play with the laser sight (no crosshair). It doesn't seem to aim properly.

-Enemies don't have much feedback to bullets

-When you aim at something it zooms really close to your character. If you play as Chris you barely see anything going on on your left

-It doesn't seem as polished as RE5/RE4
