Get list of bundles, completely ignore the fact that several single games get daily discounts (wich is what most people are looking forward to anyway): TERRIBLE SALES!

I will make the same answer as before.

This information comes from reddit (here and there), whose source is NeoGAF, whose source is PaulLFC (here and there) and the Steam registry.

And PaulLFC is more accurate than Reddit which posts about Adam's Venture Complete Bundle Retail as a summer bundle, which might be wrong. No evidence. The bundle was added to Steam with episodes 2 and 3.

Inception-GAF.

They're not leaked, they're in the registry here for anyone to see.

Also how is that mediocre? It for one doesn't include the daily deals, secondly all the packs probably aren't up yet as they will be added until the sale goes live, and third, most of the main publishers are represented with packs already.

I will make the same answer as before.
Thanks for the credit :)

I like how all these sites are posting stuff we've known for like a week. Do they even source the proper people?
Seemingly not, although the info is available publicly on the CDR site, so they could always have compiled the lists themselves.

A few more packs have been added since they posted their lists as well, I'll post the updated list soon, just got to add the new entries.

What I meant was that it would be a mediocre sale if those were the only bundles. I also removed my statement after considering the daily deals and such.

I had hoped that this would be a placeholder, as I want it and will likely end up getting it, but that's kinda more than I would have expected.

EDIT: Nevermind, Rebellion is rather new. Still...

I would imagine that is a placeholder to be honest, just forgot to label it as such :)

None of the prices we can really know until the sale goes live, although stuff like the SR3 pack and Dawn of War pack seem reasonably priced.

I always remember the THQ collection to be a particularly good deal ever year. My problem is I already owned too many of the games when I first saw it.

It's been nearly 2 weeks since the sale was supposed to start, I keep looking at these cheap DLC packs wanting to buy something to cure the itch, right now I'm looking at sonic generation's DLC at 99p :|

must.resist.before.sale.

I know they're placeholder prices but most of them make no sense at all. I mean take the Bioshock pack at $99, while both Bioshock 1 and 2 are $20. That's $60 too much!

I imagine whenever someone at VISA HQ takes a look at the issue and unlocks it. It was probably locked automatically as part as an automatical anti-fraud procedure when a lot of people charge a place back in a short period of time.
That sucks, although it might just be for US VISA cards? I just bought Sleeping Dogs like a few minutes ago, I'm in Canada and everything went fine.

They don't need to make sense because they're placeholders. You aren't supposed to buy them yet.

Ugh, what a horrible port Virtua Tennis 4 is. You can't even run it windowed - it actually can't be done as far as I can tell. Even launch parameters like -window and -w don't work.

Anybody know why the PS3 season pass of the Walking Dead is 19.99$ but the PC full version (which is basically the same thing) is 25$? Isn't the PC version of games supposed to be the cheaper one normally?

Batman / Gotham City Imposters Bundle - $99.99 (placeholder price) - Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City & DLC, Gotham City Imposters

Anyone know what DLC it is, that's bundled with Arkham City?

The sale being delayed is Gabe's way of blackmailing a knife collector into selling him a particularly rare piece. The registry updates are used to tease the collector in question. We are all pawns in this cruel game.

Dumb question but why do some people want to run games in windowed anyway?

That's a pretty nice list. Even if I choose to go frugal I could certainly pick up Divine Wind, Chaos Rising/Retribution, Space Marine, Recettear and Civ V.

Easier to check other windows, chat, change music, etc. Besides, even if most people prefer fullscreen, the key thing is the option should be there for people that want it, and it's not.

If you have multiple monitors, it negates the need to alt-tab to switch focus to the other monitor. So if I'm playing something on one monitor and have a Wikia page for it open on the browser, it makes it easier to browse at the same time.

Borderless fullscreen window mode is the best of both worlds. You get absolute full screen and alt-tabbing or multiscreen multitasking is much smoother. I wish all games supported the option.

Wal Mart has Alan Wake with all DLC for $15 right now

Then again, all versions of Alan Wake on PC include the two (shitty) bonus DLC chapters, and the current Gamersgate price for the standard version is $10.18.

The "Collector's Edition", on the other hand, only has in-game developer commentary videos, the soundtrack and a PDF book in addition to those.

Use DxWnd to switch to windowed.

I also use WinExplorer, to remove borders and ShiftWindow to center the window. I use a triple monitor setup and I usually use these programs to run my games fullscreen on the center monitor.

The gaps between windows are from bezel compensation

You know that Diablo 3 comes with a Windowed Borderless mode right?

Yes, but it doesn't function properly. It stretches the window across all three screens.

The only game I've dealt with so far that integrates borderless window properly and remembers window location is Dota 2.

Eugh those Indie Bundles. Pretty much already have all those between what I've picked up individually and Humble Bundle.

I'd really like to see Bioshock go for $2.50, even though it'll probably just be $5 like it's always been. I have/had it on D2D (bought for $5), but I don't know where the fuck that install is now, and I'd rather just have it in Steam. I already have Bioshock 2 in Steam.

My pipe dream price for Skyrim is $20 or less, but I doubt it will go that low. Probably $30, but that's still a bit too much for me (double-dipping from Xbox).

Gods & Kings I'd like at $10, but I'd pick it up at $15 probably.

Anything else good that I don't already have is just gravy.

Though I suppose if Indie Bundles are the centerpiece, they may be part of an achievement system for stuff, so in that case it's good I already own a bunch of them.

Sometimes D3 will just steal the screen even when you try to alt+tab and bring something in front of it, at least for me. Only thing that shows up is the taskbar. It can be fixed with going to regular windowed mode then back to borderless but that's just a workaround.
