Your ability to sidetrack this thread into a Folklore discussion every five pages is kind of incredible.

Sorry, will try to not do that,I promise.

but as you can see, many gaffers (including me) think the game fit the Vita too much and it's like a wasted opportunity for Sony not to do it, that all.

again,Sorry.

What ever happened to plans of porting Resistance: Retribution to vita with native dualstick support?

Not sure if I remember hearing anything like that. It's good as it is on the Vita, I don't see why that would be necessary. I beat the game a month or two ago and didn't have any problems. The camera controlled just fine on the right stick, even though it wasn't analog.

I was kidding. Now you're going to make me feel bad. :(

Yeah, I don't think Resistance Retribution was going to be ported over. It was just one of the games Sony used to show off the right analog stick mapping.

I hate both of those games >:|

haven't played either of them, lol
You're a horrible, horrible person.

I never really put the time into Yakuza, I was so excited for the Edo one, but alas, they never put it out in English. Sure, put out that fucking zombie garbage, not the cool shit.

Dead Souls is incredibly fun. But yeah, they should've brought over the other games too. Oh shit, veering off-topic.

I dream of a Vita Yakuza. <3

You're my new favorite person.

Import it! I got my copy for <$30 and now that I have a laptop and can queue up the cutscenes I plan on playing it soon. If other people got it on the game, I'd start up an LTTP thread.

I just want to be cool! (;_;)
You'll never be cool unless you play Yakuza.

I'm hoping that the two PSP games will get a Vita bundle. Black Panther and Suikoden I+II were the two PSP games I badly wanted to import, but I couldn't justify keeping my PSP and Vita.

I've haven't played any games in that series yet either. Also I only played about a hour of Shenmue on Dreamcast.

We can be the non-conformist clique.
I'm pretty sure you guys are in the majority. I bought a Dreamcast and Shenmue earlier this year and I've never had a stronger case of buyer's remorse.

We need to go goth, man. Then all of the other losers will flock to us, and we can start a cult.

I think Chinatown Wars is the game I've tried that had the biggest benefit when moving to Vita. Not just visually/performance wise, the stick makes such a huge difference. It was a horrible experience on PSP, and very nice on Vita.

I completely forgot that Chinatown Wars is also a PSP game.

Warhawk (PS3) would be amazing on the Vita, was thinking about picking up the psx version when it's supported but haven't that version before.

It keeps track of how often you play a game, how many hours you've played and the duration of your average session. It also ranks the games based on those criteria and charts your playtime throughout the day. It's really a very useful app, and the Vita social thing doesn't even come close to matching it. I don't think my friends (all 3 of them) care to know what I'm doing.

That sounds amazing. Would definitely want anything similar to that. Right now it is alright but missing a lot of basic things too, like total time played. Half of what the 3ds app does would probably be wicked and used much more then a clock app. Hopefully down the line..

It's especially nice for difficult games, as it accounts for time that an in-game clock naturally doesn't ;)

My average play session for OoT 3D is clocked at 5 hours, lol

because the bad save system led me to rarely exit the game, instead keeping the 3DS in sleep while it was running

Not to mention Gravity Rush's playtime seems to have reset itself after I took a break after playing MGS. I think it might reset when you take it out (and save?).

I'd die if a Yakuza Vita ever existed.

babies killed my family and kidnapped my dog

They're smelly and would propably break the Vita analog sticks if they got their hands on one.

That's what people who haven't played Gravity Rush are like, I remember those dark days of baby beatings myself.
I'm now convinced that babies are awful people.

Folklore would be perfect for Vita, Gravity Rush really reminds me of it a lot.
I still need to play this, so a Vita version would be perfect! ... though I should go out and buy the PS3 version sometime.

Just saying.

I'm gonna work on my PSP games on the Vita project in a bit. Is there anything in particular any of you fine folks want to see?
Why not some Dissidia 012 duodecim? I feel the game looks great on Vita and plays even better.

Yakuza series is for sure one of my favorites, but I've never played Shenmue...

I just want notifications for comments/likes on my activity log. I think people would suddenly start using and checking it a great deal more.

I'd die first. One of the reasons I was hesitant to import the PSP games is that I didn't like the battle system. An unrestricted Yakuza game on the Vita would be amazing.

I jut hit the second disc of Shenmue, and while the game's interesting, I feel like I wasted the $70 I spent on the game and a Dreamcast. It feels like too much of a chore.

Here we go...
I laughed.

I posted this earlier, but the thread moves fast.

I'm looking for a good deal on Virtua Tennis. Anyone know of any?

Do you think Sony will ever make a Folklore 2?
It's likely that they will not. =(

Can't there be room for two in the grave?!

$70? D: Are there any other cheap Dreamcast games you'd want to try out, though? Skies of Arcadia, maybe? EDIT: forgot that was on gamecube

Thinking of getting prinny as GameStop is selling codes for it for $7.99. Can anyone vouch for it? Does it look nice on the Vita?
It's a fun little platformer but it's extremely frustrating. I'm surprised I didn't break my PSP :|

This will be a giant mass grave. Everyone's welcome!

Oh man, I just took a picture of Skies of Arcadia for the pick-up thread (I don't own a Gamecube or Wii). I have Typing of the Dead and Maken X, but while I love Typing of the Dead, the Dreamcast is definitely a warning against impulse purchases. Of course, I originally planned to spend my Dreamcast money on Max Payne 3, so the alternative would have been worse.

My copy of Virtua Tennis should be in today. Woot.

I need to finish Gravity Rush, but I keep getting side-tracked by consoles. :p
Only thing i don't like about Virtua Tennis 4 is the progression system during the career mode, just feels clunky and shitty to me.

But the gameplay is spot on, looks great and runs great.

I wonder if they'll have any good sales for PSP games compatible with Vita tomorrow. It'd be nice if they'd actually take a page from Europe's store and give us some Vita sales and PS+ discounts towards Vita games. Just really odd they have a Vita section on the store and there are physical copies beating out the prices of the digital copies, which loses the "cheaper than physical" advantage.

They need to step up their game. Luckily I have plenty of non-Vita stuff to play to keep me from buying other stuff. lol. Still gotta finish Corpse Party, though. And I got FFTactics...the game is already long, but dat magic/special skills lag...that'll increase play time. lol >_<
