I think it could slide to the left to reveal the disc space. I think the right part is slightly higher and larger for that reason. Would be a terribad design, but that matches up with the general design of the unit. Shit.

Once again Sony is way too late. This 16gb model should have come out long ago to compete with MS's Arcade version of the Xbox. To have this come out when the next generation is basically upon us is baffling.

No, it's the perfect time. Make it as cheap as possible and sell the PS3 right along side of the PS4.

That would seem like a serious waste of money if it's automatic. Also introduces more parts that can break.
