I was really comparing it the UE4 demo, where I think the comparison is somewhat more valid as they were both pretty heavily directed...agreed that what is shown here is close to what we can have soonest

This is not a next-gen leap at all IMO, of course it looks glorious but I'm expecting more for "next-gen" games.
Something like Agni's Philosophy is what I would call "next-gen".
This is what I want true next-gen games to look like, to my mind it's a real "next-gen" leap over what we have now.

The Luminous engine demo ran on a GTX 680, the GPU in the PS5 will destroy that, easily. There's no reason PS4 and Xbox 3 won't be able to run that demo at 720p.

I just upped to the GTX 680. I'm pretty happy with the decision.

MOV is a container, like AVI or MP4.
In this case, the video is in AVC1 and the audio is AAC -- which is the prefered formats used in MP4. I'm not sure why they preferred to save it as a MOV instead of MP4, I guess they didn't care.
I would love it if KojiPro grabbed this engine and made a great MGS game.

Pot player is simply the best, I used to love VLC. But VLC cannot play movies that are like 90GB (don't ask).

I would not be the least bit upset if the team making Crysis 3 announced they were switching to dinosaurs. Someone NEEDS to make a good dino game with this, as has been mentioned many times in this thread!
