Probably gonna be free with $15 IAP to unlock all chapters or something like that. And the price is gonna be like $15 I bet
Maybe Apple certification issues... Guardian Cross' Japanese release got rejected thrice. It's about time. Didn't really understand why it was delayed so many times.
It's gonna be in English, right?
I guess because of the Square Enix Market on Android in Japan. I suppose that means it won't be coming to Android in the west any time soon. It's on Android and iOS in Japan but iOS only for English, heh
Yep, expected.http://www.gamer.ne.jp/news/201208230011/
Free prologue and other chapters purchased separately, confirmed. Also some new screens.

It is not one full game? I mean, I will buy it anyways, but for how long it has been worked on I thought it would have a complete game.http://www.gamer.ne.jp/news/201208230011/

The game was released as chapters originally in Japan for feature phones, just like FF4 The After Years. They're all done, but they're still charging per chapter with this version it seems. Just like FF4 TAY on WiiWare. It is not one full game? I mean, I will buy it anyways, but for how long it has been worked on I thought it would have a complete game.
Looks like the old Final Fantasy games. Is it any good?

Wait, so is this really not gonna bother with an Android release at all? Smartphone gaming almost never interests me but I'd probably pick this up if it's not an iOS exclusive.
I would be shocked if anybody here played the original version, considering it released after most people were already upgrading to smart phones. Is this game any good? If not how long is the game?
Part of that was the fact it was tied down to being basically FFIV-2. I want something that's like a forgotten 16-bit title. But not only would that work better as a single purchase I imagine, but it seems they're redid the graphics for the iOS/Android version so it DOESN'T look like a forgotten 16-bit game anymore, but rather a cheap mobile cash in (which it really seems to be admittedly). Seems more like an idea I would've liked built for the ground up on GBA or DS, but we're past that now and they seem to have no interest in attempting it on anything beyond older Japanese cellphones anyway. They fooled me with this "Old School Final Fantasy" dance once already (The After Years), so I think I'll sit this one out.
Pretty much nobody here has played it... but it has FFV's Job System so it can't be bad!

His point was that it wasn't a good game. But The After Years was old school Final Fantasy? It had disgustingly high encounter rates that were all back attacks and ridiculously rare drops, even!
Why shouldn't it be?And the price is gonna be like $15 I bet
Well, it is coming to Android in Japan.Just woke up and saw this.
Siliconera says this one is coming to Android devices, iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad on August 31. But, I guess they got it wrong, right? :/

I would have liked it a lot more if it had any sort of consistent balance.I liked After Years :/
