Why can't I stop listening to this song? I actually think OP2 is better than OP1 even though both are fantastic. The two OPs of this show pretty much perfectly express what it's about and the songs themselves install permanently in your brain's boot sector and cannot be eradicated. Not that you would want to eradicate something as awesome and catchy as this!

The S1 ED was the only one I Always watched, 2nd place is OP 2 to see Kyouko's animation for 10 seconds, then I skip that too, along with S1 OP and S2 ED

Ha, I'm glad to have other people around who feel the same way about it I do, really. I don't think I could have ever predicted quite how much gaffu would latch onto this show. Lastly, I feel like with the speed of this thread you might not ever see this post, but it's worth writing anyway.

I appreciate you writing this post. It's a very idiosyncratic show, but it's really excellent, and I'd consider it an absolute must-watch.

this arc was enjoyable not because of the mystery, but all the events and how they all tie up together. all the characters that were introduced so far returned and it was overall very lively with good comedy moments. Irisu x Chitanda scene and cooking contest in particular were really good. The 'mystery' itself wasn't all that exciting but it was enough for all the other good things to happen.

Sengoku Collection 21

This suprisingly entertaining episode was set in a space station taken over by a rogue AI set on destroying all of the motherland. It is thereby upto a former warring state general known as Takeda Shingen and a tea-making android known as Fasad to overcome against all odds and destroy the horrifying AI known as Vesna 9000. The sakuga action sequences combined with the strong direction really helped this episode. One scene in particular involving Shingen re-entering the space station again via the manual hatch was incredibly well done and really stood out as one of the best scenes I've seen this season.

I read a few chapters of the "official" manga and I'm deffinitely looking forward to the "third" season of "Spice and Wolf", especially if they use the same voice actors (the ones that played Holo and Lawrence) from the Drama CD's. Get hype!

You've already seen the worst 3 episodes the show has to offer so it's all pretty much uphill from there, especially the Shingo Kaneko episodes (5, 8 and 19) which are legitimately great.

--Honestly I can't remember why Mushashi is a on a ship, I just accepted the fact that it is a city ship. It could be due to there not being as much land available due to what happens in the back-story prior to the first episode.

I thought the backstory was something happened on Earth, everyone went to space on these ships, then something happened, and now they are back over Earth trying to repeat history to figure out where they went wrong.

Guitar is definitely not something you pick up fast unless you started young. I was a piano player too when I was younger and guitar is just completely different and a lot harder than I would have guessed. On the up side, I've forgotten how to read music but guitar tablature is way easier than traditional sheet music to read. I've been trying to learn to play on and off for the past year but every time I stop for awhile I find I forget almost everything. I need to try to play consistently or I'll never really get anywhere with the guitar.
