BOMBA PS3/XBOX 360/Wii/3DS $99 at Sears [Canada/US]

ugh, once it hits slickdeals, forget it. there will be nothing left on the shelves if there was anything good.

Yeah, there was some douchebag on there bragging about how he went to one and started scanning barcodes on his phone to see what had the most trade-in value, and then cleaned them out of everything.

this news has been on slick deals and CAG all week so the day you ever go to a sears and see a "90% off" or slim picking then its RIP.

/debbie downer

but the funny thing is, some were pre buying to adjust their receipts but what they don't know is Sears doesn't give back on clearance, rou ouh :p

that being said, nothing at some sears around here yet but i will keep an eye out for these deals :D

Prices were still high at my sears, but they had a TON of old product (Rach / Fable 3 360 bundles). Hoping it all gets axed and clearanced.

Didn't buy anything. But yeah, the Sears in downtown toronto (eaton centre) had a ton of 250gb 360s, 4gb kinect bundles and the 250gb bundles that included Halo reach + Fable 3 + 3 months of gold. All bundles were $199. They had 4 black 3DS systems for $99. Guy told me he had Red and Blue in the back as well. 1 Wii was there, and 1 PSP but it wasn't on sale for some reason.

Probably because they had only 1. I wish our 360's were on sale, but alas my Sears wasn't stock piled on 360s :-(

Guy said consoles haven't been marked down yet, I'm still gonna go in tomorrow to have a look see since he said quite a few games are marked down, have to go into work though.

Is this so far only in the northern states? I just went to one in Fort Worth, and nothing was on sale. It was definitely slim pickings, with just a handful of 3DSs and mostly pegboard behind glass haunted with lonely old price stickers.

Have them scan what you want anyway. Some people are reporting systems not marked, but the price clearances when scanned. If your there, you might as well. I will have the wife do that tomorrow for the 360, just in case. The kids old version died. >.>

Yup. The 3DS systems were marked down to $120 on the sticker, but they were actually $99. They had a sign up for the 360 systems though saying $199, stickers were still at $299 though.
Are there any reported discounts on DSi XLs?
I saw a DSi XL, but I didn't check if it was discounted.

Those of you saying they weren't marked down, did you get the system price checked? Often places like this are awful at restickering inventory. That was ultimately part of Circuit City's downfall as they never repriced anything after discounts occurred.

I was on my lunch break. I waited around for about 10 minutes and didn't see a single employee.

I did, and came up with nada. The guy was really irritated, too. "Look, the prices are on the stickers".

Meanwhile, all of their Vita games were priced at launch MSRP, and their 360 controllers (which had tons of dust) were priced at $49.99.

Were you in Northern CO or Southern? I'm in Boulder.

North. Let me know what you find in Boulder.

The Greeley store had the PSVs, not sure how long it'll last though...with how people are freaking out about them. I am wondering if I should of bought one.

You might want to check Thorton:
SEARS GRAND THORNTON

16395 WASHINGTON ST THORNTON, CO 80023

$299.99

FREE Store Pickup

Only 8 Left In Stock

Note: Wife bought a PSV without me asking, I am now a PSV owner. :-O No $99 Xbox.

There's a Sears around here that used to be part of a mall. The mall closed down, and years later, a Super Wal-Mart sprouted from the ashes. The Sears still stands for some reason. So hopefully the basis of my story means that there's stuff there! Wish me luck!

I called Sears yesterday and asked to be transferred to my nearest store. The lady in electronics said they had ONE Xbox 360 250GB left and it was just $40.

I raced over there, only to discover that they had transferred me to a store in God-knows-where. My store had lots of stock at regular price.

I bought what I wanted with hopes of getting a price adjustment; if not, I'll just return the whole shebang.

Ought to run over and check things out today.

Edit: Nothing doing at my store today.

By the way, slickdeals guys were saying the playstation eye was clearanced for $10 at sears/k-mart if you're interested. Didn't see any at sears, so I can't confirm.

Funny thing, these consoles should already be this cheap. Personally, I think a few of them could still be a bit cheaper. For those that get in on the low prices, congrats!

They had them in a clearance bin for $14.99 at ours.

Had 'em price-check the 4GB 360 model, and it was still $199.99. Saw it for myself on their monitor when they scanned it.

Ah, well I accidentally went to a "Sears" in Superior that turned out to only be an appliance outlet (I was just using google maps). I got back and have called the location at Thornton but the woman that helped me on the phone looked up the price on her computer and only found the Vita at regular price. With the amount of people not having any luck, I don't really want to risk doing that drive. You're lucky you have such a wonderful wife!

Check out the points cards too. I was at Sears Clearance in Regina (Canada), and they had 2000 Nintendo points for $14.99, but then they were selling those at 50% off, meaning I bought 6000 Nintendo points for just over $22.00. I should have bought more, but I figured there are only a handful of VC/WiiWare games that I really want, and I'd rather not hoard a deal like that.

I went to my local Sears and they had PS3's(320GB) for $199. But no Vitas since they never stocked them to begin with. Does anyone want to trade a Vita for a PS3? I could buy one.
