I don't know, the combat in Silent Hill feels too simple and repetitive to me. Do you ever get skills to change up the gameplay a bit?

Honestly, I was a bit shocked at the low quality of the graphics. Given the power of the Vita, the frame rate issues in some of the rooms (if you turn on the flashlight) and the low-detail models are kind of ridiculous. If it weren't for the lighting, this could almost be a PSP game. Well, maybe the can improve it a bit until release.

So, now that there is finally good PS1 games on the vita store, I was thinking of trying an FF, and I narrowed it down to FF6 and FF9. Which do you think is better, graphics being 2d or 3d dont matter to me,and more importantly, how are the load times and slowdowns?

hmm i could have sworn he switched to the ps1 classic version after showing the psp version! actually let me double check..

i don't even know.. it says "And that classic too..." after the psp bit, and the icons are different...but meh :S GT on PSP looks ok actually, from what I remember there were a lot of these annoying white lines or seams in the track, will check it out on youtube..

Wait until you get to the rafting chapter. Just purely on dialoge alone, that scene alone makes it the best Uncharted in the series... well, just as good as anything in U2.

Siliconera thinks that it has 6 endings and if you look at the book you can see a very good number of weapons ;)

People usually call FF6 the best FF, but performance wise, FF9 is a little better(faster load times, for example).

I see LKS on the US store has screenshots on its page. So I thought, 'Awesome, screenshots for every game now!' Then I check every other game and of course there are none. Well, FIFA.

To everyone, try the silent hill demo at least 2 times, everything is random, and try different karma too. This is the only way to get the essence of the game

How are load times on Chrono Trigger for Vita? Improved by increasing the loading speed or anything?

I'll have to buy it later since im still playing Persona 3 Portable. 53 hours in and only on the 89th floor. Plus level 39. Grindinnnnn

I haven't personally tested, but I think some people in other threads have claimed that the load times are not noticeably improved in those two games. Something about how they're coded, idk.

Mostly GAF in general but I do recall some comments in the part4 discussion thread not speaking highly of the game. Not that I really care though, I'm having a blast and hopefully the game keeps this pace and balance between exploring/platforming/combat. Oh, and the graphics...so good.

Except for the ending, it keeps getting better the more you play.
You even get some better partners later on.

Tried the Silent Hill demo: I kinda had fun...but I can see it getting repetitive. Also the presentation is very low budget, and PSP level. We know the Vita can do ALOT better. Lighting was nice though.

No, you're right. It's on par or better than Uncharted 2 on all counts.

Can OLED screens improve in the future with those spots on black screens? I play my Vita a lot at night lately and it's noticing a lot more since it covers over a third of the screen

I think I head some gaffers say the blotches may reduce over time. I think my Vita has less blotches now than what it had 8 months ago.

The Zero Escape demo was pretty good. I'm sold on it. It and P4 Golden will probably be my first real Vita purchases.

I figured as much. One or two areas in the demo suggested multiple endings.
