The guys filming probably want as much varied footage as possible in order to get dem Youtube hits so I wouldn't worry about that. Its why theres so much zombies footage up lol.

Can only get footage from what they are allowed to play though - hopefully NYCC has more of the sandbox open.

31 pages into Thursday War. Liking it so far... but then again, I did like the start of Glasslands. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

That's one of Eurogamer's rules, that the queue should allow you to spectate, so even when you're not playing you can still get a good look. I think there's a couple of exceptions with age rated games, but it makes for a much better show. The setup they had around the BLOPS stand was great.

I think there are limited drop sites in maps, so don't expect stuff in your base. Otherwise the system would be ridiculous.
There is a perk that tells you where the next drop will come.

And remember there's also personal ordnance in some modes, you get kills/points and you can call down a weapon or powerup (3 choices). There's also perk that lets you reroll the selection of personal ordnance.

I'm free most days after 6 usually. Maybe not Tuesdays and Wednesdays actually. But other than that whenever. Should be a good laugh.

When he told everyone my name, my name on my Xbl profile was 'Lee' so technically I didn't say my real name, I changed it to my full name when I went to check how he found out my actual name.
I think him trying to give out my street is worse than a picture though.

I don't really get what's so bad about showing people a picture of yourself, only major dicks would take the piss out of someone for what they look like.

So I played 2 matches of Halo 4 today. It was good, I was impressed. Looks and feels great, much better than Reach based on the small amount of time I had. Excited for release!

Also earlier I mentioned the challenge where you could play Walshy or Strongside in Reach and win $1000 if you beat them. Not a single person won.

Honestly I didn't get to try too much other than the load out that was preselected which had a BR and a DMR. The line took over an our each time I waited so I didn't want to waste any time customising things, I just wanted to play. I kind of hated the DMR in Reach so
I didn't use it. The BR felt really good to use. I only got to try forerunner vision which I thought would be a bit cheap, but worked well and didn't last very long so it felt balanced. It was more of a quick power up than a thing you just walk around with on the whole game, you really use it when you need it.

Sorry I'm not being very descriptive I'm super tired. Let me know if there's any other questions ill try to answer but yeah my time with the game was very limited. Enjoyed every moment though.

Is it just me or does no one else see a reason to use any perk other than dexterity? It just seems to trump all the others in its class.

Kind of late to this, but I watched Landfall for the first time was night and was pleasantly surprised.

Also watched FUD thought it was a nice intro. I'm interested to see how they're going to develop the main character into not being an unlikable jerk.

I wonder how effective AA efficiency. Having faster usage of the Thruster seems nice, but then I'm not entirely sure how long it takes to reload normally.

We expect it to be heavily used but if you think about how often you're killed while reloading, when in that normal animation you get killed and how frequently you get to reload clear of danger, you can see its utility shrink (defensively) but that said, iit's on of my go-tos in part because of the psychological feeling of safety it provides.

Movement is good, feels like Halo. Not a fan of global ordnance at all. Regicide is weird. Don't think I like it.

I'll probably be using it in the smaller maps. Seems like it'd be quite handy there.

On a semi-related note, what's your favorite loadout? Or do you have one?

regicide on longbow? not sure if that is the best option for a first game of halo 4.

But I agree with Regicide, though I'm no fan of ffa at all.

Glad you guys got to play it
