You can use LB and RB to switch between Matchmaking and Custom games.

If the explanation is because campaign is simply too grandoise and ambitious in scale to support theater it would make this a lot easier to swallow. I had so many cool moments in theater I captured. This also means no more machinima using campaign.

These were all taken from a custom campaign run me and a friend did. It was set on heroic with 7 skulls on. Forgot which ones aside from Mythic and Thunderstorm. It basically kept the enemy damage from reaching bullshit legendary levels, but still made EVERY SINGLE ELITE fight like a boss battle. You essentially could only take them out my team shotting plasma pistols or by assassinating.

We have two more bulletins left before the game launches, I wonder which one they'll use to talk about it. I have to assume that it's a hardware issue at this point; they had to do push the old technology to its limit at the expense of other things that we've come to expect. It really sucks that it's gone, but I really don't believe that 343 would just cut something because only a small percentage of a population used it...oh.

Enjoy your campaign panoramas, you won't be able to do that in Halo 4 Campaign.

I tried to use Theater with the campaign when I was on Halo 4, and that was not possible. It can only view Infinity clip. Maybe that was a bug or an error from the build, but I remember it was not possible to use Theater with Campaign.

If possible in Theater of Disc 2 you can save campaign played games and possibly play it in the MP theater, but Idk for sure...

As I explained before, even if Theater is a selection from Infinity Menu, I remember I wasn't able to see my clips from the campaign.

The theater in Halo 4 seems to be worst than it was in Reach. I explain:

In Reach, theater saved automaticaly your previous games and you could watch it when you want with a temporary files save, directly from the theater. Now, you have to go to the main menu, press start, going to file directory, search your clip then save it to view it in the theater.

And when I was doing that sort of thing, there were no campaign clips, only multiplayer, even if I had finish a level from the campaign.

But I think it will be okay for Spartan Ops, 'cause it's from the Infinity.

Jesus. Are you fucking kidding me 343? "Don't worry, Halo 4 will support theater in the same capacity as past games." Thats a rough quote from last year when they were talking vaguely about Halo 4 and its features. I really, really hope theater is still in the game, but something tells me it isn't and it was one of those things 343 wasn't planning on telling us. I'm fucking upset that the mode isn't there, but I am even more upset about the lack of transparency about it. If it wasn't in the game, fucking tell us earlier. Don't pretend like theater will have feature parity, as promised, when it won't.

I almost never used it personally, but I loved seeing MrBig, Ghaleon and others go to town with it.

Halo 4 sp must have waaay too much smoke and mirrors for them to be afraid of letting people take a peek.

Really 343i, I'm just really salty over the removal of theater in campaign.

I want to be hyped for H4 I really do but when you start removing features from the game, that just makes no sense to me. H4 is looking more and more like a casual fest just like that other big named game.

Not to mention:
-No skilled based ranks
-No Flag juggling(not even in customs)
-Can't drop the flag anymore
-Waypoint over your head in CTF now for the enemy team to easily spot you
-No Doubles Playlist
-Time spent more on Grifball, new noob friendly CTF then the competitive community
-Forge is essentially the exact same from Reach(color and pieces)
-You have to complete certain commendations and overall rank to unlock armor(This seems like a waste of time)
- Assault removed
- No Grenade Pickup without Perk
- Poor Excuse for an LE
- Helmet Exclusions for LE Map Pass, FOD is a stream
- Killcams
- Too much CoD

To name a few, I really do want to believe. Right now it's looking stacked against me.

I helped you out a little. The more that comes out the worse it seems. I wonder how future SpartanOPs is going to be handled.

In wonder if they disabled campaign theater because of all the matte painting trickery the game does. I'd assume it would be really easy to make the game look bad in some areas just by using non-standard camera angles, especially at the bullshot resolution.

Theatre in Campaign was fun a few times but I only really used it to grab MP or Forge stuff. Hopefully it is in Spartan Ops, since that is where its addition will actually get some use. I can see myself finishing Solo once and then a mix of Forge, MP and Spartan Ops for the remainder.
