Doritos Double EXP codes can be used more than once, as long as you are using them on a different account.

Have fun.

Wuuuuut... we need a codes thread or something!

Edit: SIKE!

Damnit, if I don't finish everything in doom 3 bfg before Halo 4, I am never going to finish it.

The campaign and enemies in doom 3 really are braindead, sheesh, how did I never notice this before? Post-Halo campaigns, not many FPS campaigns can stand up...

I can see it now... November 6th, kotaku:

Breaking news, all of "HaloGRAPH" XBOX live accounts suspended for abusing double xp codes.

Guess they can only be used a few times, .shin and I both used that code.

Only twice.

Works great if you have access to two facebook accounts. Just Apply once into your own account, then gift it to yourself using the other. Only works with facebook linked accounts and doritos codes though.

just because you play the game a lot doesn't mean you're any good.

I would still say playtime makes you better at the game though I mean if you practice at something for so long chances are you will do better, doesn't always mean they will be better but still.

Codes only work twice.

Inheritor just means you havn't seen the sun shine for a while. It doesn't measure skill at all.
I want to believe this, and it makes logical sense, however from personal observation 9/10 times Inheritors aren't bad. You have to figure if they play that much, they'd have to be at least decent.

We haven't had one of these "Reach matchmaking sucks" pics in a while.

Ouch.

My first game of Reach MM in ages. I go all match on foot, and in the final thirty seconds I get in a tank. Well some jackass steps in my way as I boosted, I get a betrayal and he boots me. Wait... it says I betrayed three people. I'm 90% sure it was just the one at the end. God knows

It was enough to make me turn off the game and play BF3 instead. Such crap.

Note that this is the same pace (roughly) as Halo 3 and Reach, minus the final 3rd content piece being sat on to cross promote another game.

I have a hunch why the third one is releasing in the time frame that it is. Look up the Osborne Effect.

Also, I have a Facebook because I'm required to. I have a Twitter so I can ignore Overdoziz.

Is the argument/hunch here that they announce the DLC and the rough timeframe to reassure consumers that the season pass does have a true value with a measurable time frame?

Or are you stating that the the time frame is set to play out completely this close to launch to allow enough time for marketing of the next game/remake/expansion (which may simply be the Xbox 720 - not necessarily a Halo property per se).

The second option would actually make a lot of sense. Release Halo 4. Sell Map season/sparty pass (with guaranteed map packs on a tight schedule) and then you're free to promote the hell out of the Xbox 720 as soon as the last DLC has been pushed out (at that point they're betting they would have already made most of their money from season pass holders and they won't care about people waiting for the 720 cannibalizing their Halo dollars.)

EDIT - Using this argument can we deduce the announcement of the 720 will come sometime approximately a month after the final Halo 4 map pack? Which would give them just enough time to promote and launch by Thanksgiving.

Well you could technically just play firefight and campaign and try to do it that way. Also, even if you win or lose, you still gain xp. Again, no real skill involved, which is why I keep fighting for a skill-based ranking system for H4.

I really wouldn't call that post "Useless". Your reply was more useless than the post.
Not at all. Your post was nothing more than meta nonsense about how many OTs HaloGAF goes through and my post was calling attention to how useless posts like these are what makes HaloGAF a chore to keep up with nowadays.

Don't use Doom 3 to judge other FPS games! That thing was bad in 2004 and it hasn't aged any better in 2012.

So will we get more multiplayer map packs after the third one in April? It seems weird to release all the new maps so quickly after launch and then leave such a long period between the last map pack and the next game. Unless...

Halo 2 HD Remake for Xbox 720 launch :p
