What for? PC version, which will be superior, will come out anyway. Besides, if you play primarily on PC chances are GTA is not the kind of game that will make you buy a console.
I'm sure quite a few have PCs and a console. I just prefer to play it on PC the first time around.
I'm not insinuating that the PC version WON'T be better, I'm just saying by owning at least one of the consoles, you open up the door for not getting fucked as much.

I suck at patience. I couldn't wait to play one of my most anticipated games ever created. It's basically the re-imagining of San Andreas which was easily my favorite game on the PS2 (possibly ever).
It will be awesome to buy on the PC too, by then I'll have my new video card and monitor (just rebuilt everything else) and it will be amaaaazing!

Still haven't played RDR since R* did not release it on PC. Won't get this if not released for PC.

Oh lordy....
C'mon now, this was expected and is the norm. R* haven't released a simultaneous GTA title in over a decade - it's obvious that they see it as a console title foremost or want to get out there on those platforms quicker, for whatever reasons.
I mean, as disappointing as it is - wasn't this expected?
Edit: Not disagreeing that it's a bit silly and sucks for those looking forward to it.
In all honesty that's your loss not theirs.
Will just buy this on the 360. Want to jump into it when the hype is still fresh and don't want to wait months for the PC version.
No mods though
Mods will make the double dip more worthed, i guess.

I always wondered what the actual financials involved are. I mean, if making a Wii U and PC port at launch makes them shitloads of money in comparison to man hours, licensing, and production ... why don't they?
Why does any company do this? If it makes them millions of dollars, why wouldn't they do this? Unless of course, they don't have the resources ...
Obviously potential Wii U owners and PC gamers know better than their accounting and management teams.

Don't you think business practices regarding an entire company that makes up more than just "Grand Theft Auto" is a bit of a reach from a sure bet that people make out these ports to be?
There is a lot more to T2 than just GTA ... I was obviously talking about GTA specifically as a business decision. Not sure why you brought in their entire business into the equation, seems like a bit of a stretch IMO. Honestly, it's not as black and white as either of us are making it out to be.
Most of those issues are not related to the performance of GTA itself.

Day 1 offcourse on PS3.
I hope we have the ability to grab people and throw / push them. You could push people in GTA 4 but it was a bit trial and error because you had to run at them with the perfect angle to pull of that push-in-front-of-truck move.
Also things that I need to hear about is:
- big semis
- Cheats
- police missions
- how they optimized the engine so it wouldn't lag like hell on the consoles when lots of stuff was going on
- and hopefully a PC version (doubtfull)
...
I actually like to act like I'm a cop sometimes in GTA4. I had the police mods on GTA 4 on my pc and had a blast with them, I wish rockstar could implement something like that.

Told you guys it's not coming to PC. About a year after the console release they will finally say something about it to the effect of "Unfortunately we are too busy trying to come to grips with next gen hardware to be able to devote resources to a PC port of GTA5".

I going to be double dipping as well. Plus most of the people I would play online with would be on console.
One thing I am hoping for is to have motorcycle cops back. I can see amazing things happening wreaking a bike cop with europhia involved.

It's not at all. Many companies have different teams. I didn't say the head of their accounting nor did I specify anything regarding what level would be making these decisions.
It's a valid point. If it made them millions upon millions of dollars and it didn't tax the team into early retirement, I'm sure they would. If it's as easy as most are saying, they probably would.
I'm not saying it's an actual decision being made, but somewhere, at sometime, the decision NOT to do this was made and I can only imagine that reason was financial viability and team management.

I believe creating connections between parallel worlds is something the R* team could accomplish, but they are probably using it for the greater good.
No, they'll be saying something to the effect of, "We're porting it to PC and while we're at it, we're releasing that version on the new consoles where you can enjoy it at the same specs."

I found this tidbit from the GameInformer Vice City issue pretty interesting.
Given how the market has shifted towards co-op, it makes me believe that the whole game will be playable, online co-op.
Perhaps different groups of missions can be completed simultaneously.

I don't double dip. Will wait for a PC release. If it doesn't come then I wont play this game. Bought 4 on PS3 and it ran like shit and looked horrible. On top of that the game wasn't that great so they have left little reason for me to get worked up to buy this on consoles. There are enough releases every year that missing out on a game because it wasn't released on my platform of choice doesn't hurt me too much.

I just hope skiing is in. Imagine if you have to do a mission ala James Bond where your parachute opens with Tw@ on it instead of the Union Jack......
