I can easily deal with them when there are reasonable numbers at a distance. You know, like Grunts would generally be.

Crawlers get to be unfair when they're simultaneously meleeing you, shooting you with automatic weapons, and sniping you with Binary Rifles. And that's before you even add in the Knights and watchers.
I've learned that I have to retreat when crawlers start to outnumber me too much. Gain some distance, don't let them surround you, and pick them off.

Can't when your back is literally to the wall because the mission objective says defend this wall ( or hold this drop zone that is next to a sheer wall).

If you watch the SITREC and your killer is in regen field, your loadout menu is also blurred lol.

I haven't seen a killcam yet that is even remotely close to being accurate; they should just remove that. It also seems the killcams are glitchy because they only seem show up every now and then. Also, there's no way I'm calling it a fucking "SITREC."

I find if you spot the crawlers entry point to a battle you can pretty much take them out as they file in one by one from range.

Then any crawlers that happen to get close you simply dodge their melee by literally backing straight up (down on controller while you still face them directly). They miss their melee and this also perfectly lines up your crawler head as they sort of pause when they miss their melee.

You can also melee them this way and not even get melee damage yourself. Further multiple crawlers are easily avoided using circle strafe or jump too. Fairly straight forward and I'd say I only melee'd a handful throughout Heroic campaign.

Total joke something so inaccurate was even put into a retail release. At least players may realise latency issues but really for the masses it just makes the developer look inept.

Dominion really needs a HUD element showing you which bases are captured by what team aside from the waypoints above the bases. Right now it's hard to keep track of what's being captured by what team and what bases are already captured. This is especially a problem because I've already tuned out practically everything Steitzer says. He says so much worthless information that I just stopped listening to him. In CTF it's the same. I rarely hear when Steitzer says that our flag is taken or that we have the flag. If there's huge text at the top of the screen telling the flag carrier that he has the flag then why not tell the rest of the team? You know, the people who actually need that information. I'm not sure but I don't think even the flag-away indicator next to the scoring in previous games is there anymore.
 
Join in progress into a game, I quit out. Go into MM, get put into the SAME GAME.

Yeah. That one is my god damn favorite.

I enjoy the game, but all the glitches and such are why we have a public beta. My brother had a game on Ragnarok earlier where he boarded the Mantis, planted the nade, and the Mantis was unscathed. Not to mention the DNF when backing out of Map Vote screen.

I honestly feel like im playing a delta build when it comes to the MP, im still enjoying the hell out of it

I'm not down on Complex like you guys are. I certainly need to play more of it but I don't think it's as bad as you guys say it is. Also, the more slayer pro I play the more I want Infinity Slayer without radar.

Promethean vision would be way to OP though.

Hey, remember when I pointed out every single issue people are complaining about months and months before release and everyone was like, "STFU Team Downer," "Ignore" and "You can't know that untill you've played the game?"

Those were good times.

You'll get used to it.

Seriously playing Red Bar everybody teleporting connection games, when this thing just came out and is likely the most populated game on this POS service.

Welp Spartan Ops is a disappointment so far.

Last two missions are way better than the first few.

I get the same problems, my internet is fine but the connections are worse more than they are better.
 
My biggest pet peeve about the Prometheans, definitely. They are just cheap. There's one part on Infinity where you need to hold off a bunch of them while Cortana opens a door, with no cover, no ammo, and you get Crawlers in multiple waves of thirty or so, as well as Knights who are apparently not solid as Railgun rounds pass straight through them. It's stupid on Normal, I can't imagine what it'd be like on Legendary.

And these hold true pretty much every time you face fucking Crawlers. It's never 5 or 6, it's always in at least the high teens. What they lack in actual intelligence they make up for in sheer numbers and firepower and speed. They're like kamikaze Skirmishers crossed with Combat Forms.

I got stuck there for so long earlier today on my solo legendary run. I've played all the campaigns on legendary and I have NEVER had as much trouble with any part of the other games as I did with this part. I had to railgun+lightrifle headshot all the knights really quick before they could spawn their watchers, and I still fought probably 7 or 8 knights in total, plus 50+ crawlers. I HATED that part. Never been so frustrated with a part of a Halo campaign like that.


Edit: Also, the Knights ALWAYS start their stupid teleport that makes them temporary invulnerable right when I start charging the rail gun. I'm assuming that's what you meant about the rail gun passing through them.

So far the only things that bother me are the random matchmaking issues and occasional lag. I dont really have any personal issues with the ordinance or design (yet).
There's definitely a lot of good in it, the game can feel incredibly polished at times, but, I'm only writing about the negative experiences after all.
I get the same problems, my internet is fine but the connections are worse more than they are better.
Glad to see I'm not alone.

I really hope that 343i has some good post launch support. If there's any area where they really need to prove themselves, its that. There are alot of small tweaks that could make this game amazing, and it definitely has more potential than Reach ever had.

There is no way they misinterpreted that, I doubt they're that stupid.
But I do agree with the second point.

After all this time fiddling, I've found out that Certain Affinity had forge tutorials on youtube. WTF.
One feature for forge that is needed is game-type lock. When I make a layout in basic editing, there should be no game-type lock. In any other game mode, let's say forging dominoin, there should be spawn for gametype on every new object spawned. It would make forging a lot faster.
Edit: Why am I making a map no one will play...

Potential is nice but Reach is still the better total package at this point. TUs better start dropping. Especially for Forge.

I think that has to do with how Reach and 4 load gametypes. In Halo 3 you could switch between gametypes in-game because they were all hardcoded into the engine.

I never really play FFA so this isn't an informed opinion, but Regicide seems fairly stupid. In the game I played of it people were just flocking to the King and ignoring everything else. In a way that's awesome, but it also promotes very bad behavior. Also the fact that it's score based and not kill based for the win is pretty awful; I won the game I played by only 10 points, but I had 4 or 5 more kills than second place.

Don't really care for Flood at all. I only played Infection occasionally in Reach for lols, it seems like they went too far in the other direction this time and made the infected way too strong. It doesn't seem (?) to be one shot kills on the flood with magnum headshots anymore, and their ability to thrust mid-jump to change their approach and attack while thrusting is ridiculous. I played 4-5 games of it and never saw a human team come anywhere remotely close to surviving a round.

I am having a blast playing King of the Hill though. I was always a fan of the gametype, but for some reason it feels really good here, can't pinpoint exactly why though.

Praying to god that there are separate ranked playlists with no join in progress or instant respawn.

Mainly so I can still play casually and have fun with my friends when I don't want to be super competitive.

Yea I don't really see the point of the king. He's worth 5 more points that a normal kill, then he gets worth more after he gets more kills? It seems kind of pointless. Everyone just runs to the king and if you kill all of them you can win without even worrying about the king. I've played 2 games, won 2 games.

Oddball though... oddball. I feel like Joe Montana out there. If you get a good team, oddball is more fun than I have had in a long time.
