I never even knew Forge was worse either only used it once or twice in REACH but lol at the parody vid..... But LIVE in general I never really cared about the 35-50 bones a year I played halo enough to justify the cost.... almost 4 months in and basically nothing it better.... I wish the gunplay was enough for me but it just got old fassst...but its really just the way this game is ran and the way it was put together... owell it is what it is..
MP: Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 4 > Reach.
SP: CE > ODST> Halo 3 > Reach > Halo 4 > Halo 2.

sure it was for you.... Reach for me had the most reply value.. H2 was fun I played it a lot too, sept on broken ass Legendary, but meh I guess I should get it on PC but not sure if its a pain to get it working on Win7 I did enjoy the story in h2 alot more but really disliked the Arbiter levels... I wanted to play as chief ... ODST is fucking amazing I looooved the hub-world and just loved it through and through...
those ratings are more from an enjoyment perspective...the fun I had
story wise...

Left Bungie late last year (October, I think?) due to unknown reasons. GAF's best bet was that it was due to disagreements between himself and Bungie with the "side project" he was working on, or he completed what he returned to Bungie for. Regardless, he's doing his own thing now.

This and the absolute worst aiming controls in the entire series ruin it for me. Argh, what were they thinking?! I envy everyone who adapted to that weird Etch-A-Sketch mess of controls.
Nah, despite all its grievances it's still the best overall online Halo game. It doesn't have game breaking glitches of 2, it's not as questionably designed as Reach or 4. It's the compromise.

Halo 4 is what Halo 3 should've been IMO, Firefight with ODST, then combine the best things in Reach (Grenade Launcher) with the best things in 4 with the true advancement Halo deserved.

Yeah, no Halo game's been perfect so far so with the proper refinements and additions you could make the games incredible. Though unfortunately it seems the series has forked into a direction that will never go back to that original path.

I dunno, in part it was the weird acceleration that causes me to over and undershoot constantly when finetuning, but the game seemed to have a bias for cardinal directions. It made it feel like an Etch-A-Sketch as diagonal movement never felt smooth, it seemed more effective to just adjust my x-axis then y-axis instead. Like using a mouse with heavy angle snapping to aim, if you know what I mean.
Despite adding the best control scheme in the series, I've never had so much struggle just regularly aiming as I did with 3. Play a lot of Reach and 4 then go back to 3 and you might see what I mean.

Putting Reach's TU playlists under the 'Evolved' tab in the matchmaking menu was such a baffling decision. So was calling the TU Slayer list Super Slayer.

Had a game last night with that guy who was trying to cheese the Infinity Challenge, Pollero Humedo. (The one Ninja showed on stream)
He was terribad, went -16 and played like a total idiot. It was almost as if he was feeding kills to the other team..
What does it say for the Infinity Challenge if he wins the truck?
