On par with 360/PS3/ The art style used in Yoshi looks great.
I posted the screenshot as a response to the Red Dead screenshot to show how it may not be the best idea to judge a games graphics quality by one shitty screenshot. What is there so hard to understand? I seriously don´t get it.
I don't see why people can't accept this as a fact. I mean Wii U is supposed to be more powerfull, so it's natural that finally a Wii U game looks better than any PS3/360 game.
i'm going to assume people with jaws dropping because of X never played Just Cause 2:

The problem with this is it doesn´t look better than any 360/PS3 game. It´s clearly a display of current gen graphics, not more not less.
I...
Is there someone else that can explain it better than I did? I mean, I thought the whole "you posted an enlarged screencap of a streaming video" thing would be enough, especially if I said it twice, but apparently I'm not being clear enough.

So yes, I claim it again, X looks better than anything on PS360. Not what I'd call a gap, but better looking.
why wouldn't you assume they'd find both impressive?
It doesn't really look better though. It looks about as good.

It doesn't really look that much better though. Like not even the difference between Wii and Xbox 1. If you told anyone those were 360/ps3 games they wouldn't have any reason to believe otherwise.
But one is running on ~6 year old hardware and the other is running on new hardware.
Let's just assume that X has a world as big as that of Xenoblade. Does any current gen game of that scale has remotely comparable quality in visuals?
As already said Red Dead Redemption.
"Up with what PS3/360 has done so far". Man, you guys are going to be SO disappointed with PS4/720.
Really nice looking. And judging by the Monolith Soft game, more capable than PS3/360. Finally a game on Wii U that looks better than anything on PS3 and Xbox 360.

X has the best moving grass I have ever seen.
And as I already said, Red Dead isnt as detailed.

I doubt it. the PS4 and 720 should have some much more up-to-date GPU technology... given the rumours about both Sony and MS going all out on the hardware specs.
I think we'll see some really impressive stuff when those real next-gen consoles come to the party. Unreal 4 looks absolutely amazing.
As already said Red Dead Redemption. And i´m pretty sure there are others.
And as i already said, that´s not true.
And as i already said, that´s not true.
RDR has tons upon tons of alpha textures as well as a day and night cycle, so unless this game has something similar, your claims are false. And as I already said, Red Dead isnt as detailed.
Wow ! Not so fast ! Too much arguments for me here !
Could you sum up or make it shorter ?

Where do i state that the game as a whole looks average at best for a open world game? Reading comprehension....
Ask me again when Sony and Microsoft reveal their new tech. Perfect Dark Zero looked amazing back in 2005.
These look like current generation console games with well executed art direction.
Sorry sir, but I dont remind as huge scale on Red Dead, huge creatures and that good looking drawing distance.
It looks as good... Except it's open and good draw distance as I already said + gigantic ennemies.
That's why as a whole it looks better.
X looks nice for a game that's extremely empty.
But is it real-time, and does it affect shadow casting?Well, we know the game has a day and night cycle, just look at the gifs throughout the thread.
I still can't see how someone can claim that an open desert with bushes and maybe a few horses is more detailed than what we've seen of X. It baffles me.
EDIT: Yes, I know that RDR is more than just a desert with bushes. But for all intents and purposes, that's what it feels like compared to this new game.

That's not enough, if anything that's the minumim a new expensive console from 2012 should do.
