no, their objection was to including their license in the list of contracts that could be transferred (bidders were able to pick and choose from this list). here is a copy of their objection: http://www.thesangreal.net/gafpics/gw_object.pdf according to the order this objection was not resolved and the judge chose not to rule on it because they're working in good faith on a resolution

Oh okay. Thanks for the clarification.

Salute to you, sir. :D

So they had to make one to get it right in the game?

Tons of those dildo bats were made as a promo item. I remember several media getting them.

I was actually scared of a package I got one day before the game's release because I was thinking THQ sent me one!

(it wasn't - it was a Bethesda package for Skyrim)

I looked at the other orders & agreements but they're all missing the interesting attachments. They'll probably be filed under seal later :(

Since Games Workshop's objection includes Relic's Atlas project as mentioned in the document, one can reasonably assume that Atlas was a W40K property, right?

If Gorkamorka and Necromunda are part of 40k (I haven't played in 10 years) then yeah I think that is a pretty safe assumption

I believe Vigil (Darksiders) would have been sold if they didn't use that enormous budget for DS II.

Really, 2.4 million copies sold is more than enough to warrant a purchase from any publisher imo. I feel that the reason nobody wants to buy them is because they made a loss, a 500K $ loss.

Thing is, their budget was like 78.7 million (!). That's gigantic for such a game. They should have spent less and they could have made enough profit, especially since a lot of gamers think there's often too much stuff in DS II that could have been left out.

Sad, really. If their budget was 10 million less or something, they would have made a nice profit and someone would have bought them I think.

idolNinja (Creator of Gentelma of the Row/Steelport mods for Saints Row) seems kinda angry about Deep Silver buying Volition and SR and will most likely not make any mods for the games from now on.

Volition’s new owner

Koch Media had the highest bid on Volition, and presumably the Saints Row IP along with it (though it’s not specifically mentioned.) You may know them better by their game publishing arm named Deep Silver who has been responsible for titles like Dead Island, Sacred 2, and Risen. Deep Silver are also responsible for some of the most backwards terrible unapologetic misogyny in the industry with the Dead Island torso statue situation. I really don’t see how I can feel good about supporting anything that they have their hands in no matter how much I love the series.

What was "unapologetic" about the debacle surrounding the statuette? It was pulled, was it not?

Edit: Beaten.
