It's a mystery- Media Molecule tease?

February 20th

Hope this is for the 20th. I'd love to see what a bright, colorful game can look like with PS4 graphics, since I have a feeling we won't be seeing too much of that from other developers on either of the upcoming consoles.

Hahaha. Can't believe I just sat here and watched that whole vid. Mm is brilliant. I wouldn't mind announcements of announcements at all if everyone made them like this.

Hope they have something good to show on the 20th.

This could have been for Tearaway.

Sony made a really great move in buying out MM. They're a superb studio and very original, i look forward to their output on PS4.

Back in August:

"We're working on a second project right now, and that's very much in an R&D phase," confirmed Media Molecule's Mark Healy.

"The focus is Tearaway, but Media Molecule is a lot more than 15 people," added co-founder Alex Evans.

"We call it in a holding pattern," he said on the unannounced project, "because the focus is on Tearaway. I'm not saying that from a press angle - our focus is on Tearaway and making it awesome. The other project is very much in an early stage and is a toy. You don't need to worry about it."

If you're interested in finding out more, you could always find out first hand. "We're hiring!" Alex beamed, "There's lots of tea people who need to help our tea makers."

Whatever it is I am excited to see what it is, it will for sure have some very interesting new game mechanics.

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.
A full 3d platforming level creator/LittleBigGalaxy would probably make me lose my shit entirely.

Man, a 3D Sackboy Adventure game would be amazing, like Super Mario 64.

Imagine if we had this whole 3D world to explore with all its charm, and actual proper platforming mechanics, and even Zelda-like quests with the Sack NPCs

Sony needs a game like that

Also the first time you turn on your PS4, Stephen Fry greets you and walks you though the set up process!

GET TO IT SONY!

It could be quite a good in-game solution, very compact. As much as in-game XMB is appreciated, it takes up, or I should say, tanks the whole screen.

I'd be in the dick
I have a feeling that MM is going to be behind some kind of Miiverse/Home hybrid for PS4. Combining something like that with the Share functions of the system could be one of the best social moves gaming could take. They've said they're working on some kind of "research project" which leads me to believe that their first PS4 project isn't a game, but something else. I would love a pop-it styled UI.
