You're just hating because you disagree. That's childish. But again it was to be expected of you.

How witful of you. Too bad I wasn't hating, just stating facts. Nice try though.

Hating Geass makes you a bad person. It is scientific fact.

You may want to read again, there were only 4 lines in my post, it's too bad you still managed to missed parts of it.

Now now, let's not get too personal.

Please develop. I don't get your point.

Cardfight!! Vanguard Asia Circuit 79 (eng dub)

Really fun episode against regular opponents though in this Seoul location the random rules for each cardfight made it a bit fun and unexpected. Loved Kamui's "this is how I roll, Nova grappler style" thing as well as one of the players LIMIT BREAK!. That preview though
the new team asteroid, what even?!

-----------
Also did get more anime and stuff today

Unfortunately...I can't really seem to post about everything I watch, but here's the latest stuff:

Katanagatari - 7

It really is a lot more fun to just listen to the characters banter rather than trying to get much enjoyment out of the actual fight sequences in this show. Oh yeah....
it was kind of harsh to kill off the sister character like that, I won't deny this much, but I'll miss her cynical remarks more than what she was really doing lately.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - 19

And this one is sort of the opposite, at least on some level, since the crazy stuff Jojo comes up with during the fights to stay one step ahead (figuratively if not always literally speaking) is often a lot more entertaining to watch than the actual dialogue, which only has some occasional points of amusement between the loads of unnecessary exposition.

Oh, and one other thing...

First season [of Code Geass] sure was. Second not so much although they were present.

I'd slightly object to that. R2 actually had more mecha on the screen than the first season, technically speaking, even if they just weren't used quite as well (a small handful of decent exceptions aside). Yes, a ton of other stuff was going on too, but I can't really argue it wasn't a mecha series on those grounds though.

I know, I've always wished I could experience more of that stuff especially after recently reading how Ryoma from Getter Robo G taught Noriko how to use the Gunbuster's axes. Thought I also read something from a few years back about Harry Ord chewing out Kira Yamato for something or another.

The highlight of the crossovers has to be Ryoma and Kamina getting into some kind of manliness contest which involved both of them running around a desert and challenging monsters to fights.

.

Yep, that's NisiOisin for you. Shichika and Togame are one of my favorite duos along with Lawrence and Korbo because it's entertaining they play off of each other so well.

lol, so who's 'they'? Give me names.

OK. Looking bad into the thread to find names. I found that I misread one or two posts so in the end I'm not talking about "they" anymore.

However the behavior that I was pointing out is this one:

I'm more surprised when a popular show is actually good.

Edit: another one for you:
It's a pleasant surprise when something that is good also winds up being popular. And then reality sets back in and twenty more shitty shows come along and become even more popular.

Though I didn't use it the expression myself, I will adopt your phrasing here:

This is being "pretentious reactionaries" (not sure of how to write it in ingular form reactionar? reactinary? Whatever.)

Does that satisfy your curiosity for names?

This show is hard at times, but that's also what I loved it so much.

I'm a huge fan of Da Capo and even I can tell you that you made the right choice not watching it. Inu X Boku is a much better show.

Can't believe I'm not the only fan of Da Capo here. And yeah, it's one of those shows that I would never recommend people to watch unless they're really into that genre.

Nah, that's more like Nina and a couple of other folks. Anything C.C. or Kallen did wrong doesn't really compare to those.

Kallen was one of the only characters I liked.

Nina and Schneizel were the worst. Also,
Lelouch's mom for just being a terrible human being.

Is Code Geass a mecha show? I honestly don't remember.

That's a difficult question to actually answer.

Code Geass for me is on the same level as School Days. Its a show about horrible people you watch in the hopes that bad things happen to them.

Are you watching Da Capo III? I think it's been pretty average so far. The group dynamic in the first episode was great and I wish it would focus more on that instead of individual characters. But I understand why they do it that way.

I really don't like it from what I've seen (boob jiggle every 3 seconds, Sakura's VA change, general art direction etc). But I think it has potential and anything to do with the magic of the Sakura tree is nice. I'll keep watching because it always gets more interesting towards the end.

Absolutely, and I liked Spice and Wolf a lot too. Not really sure if I'll check out the rest of NisiOisin's works yet though. Bakemonogatari seems to get some very good word of mouth, which is fair enough, but the others appear to have more mixed opinions.

Yes, I see what you mean. It's a bit regrettable that I read one specific spoiler about how things will end a long time ago, but I'm still finding the experience to be worthwhile in spite of that detail.

It was spoiled for me too, but I nevertheless enjoyed it. The process of getting to that point actually motivated me to finish it.

Yeah they really turned up the fanservice for some reason. I really hope that it gets better though and you're right that it usually does get better towards the end.

Served for a good anti-drug message.

He was also a lot of fun as Jean baptiste emmanuel Zorg.

Senjougahara is incredible.

Yup. I absolutely adored it. It was my very first anime though, so I may be a tad biased.

Ask Cajun, he's currently going through it now.

It's good. Watch it.

Its quite a fun time.
So is Futari wa Precure.
Both are very formulaic but helped to define the genre. How much you can tolerate the monster of the day routine will decide how much you enjoy these shows.

Thank you all.

I watch anime, I should be fine regarding that. I'll put it on my backlog

The Idolm@ster Episode 16

961 is everything that I feared it would be. Cheap, manufactured, boring drama forced upon the show by cheap, manufactured, boring villains. This episode was just dull. Hibiki is a decent enough character, but I was honestly checking to see how long until the episode would just end five or six times as I viewed it. I'm just not interested in Kuroi and his Blackstreet Boys, and it's a bit aggravating seeing them eat up so much air-time - and not in the way that I suspect they wanted me to be aggravated. I'm not against conflict - not at all, it's just that there are far better ways to set up conflict. Far better ways to set up this very same kind of conflict, even, and the show is content with taking an easy way out in this regard. It's kind of mind-blowing how completely oblivious Jupiter is to their Literal Captain Planet Villain boss's true colours, too.

We got some more foreshadowing on Chihaya's past, anyways. In fact, I think the show's already given the viewer enough clues to figure out most of it.

In short, boring episode with a boring conflict and a boring resolution.

tl;dr
