This doesn't sound too bad. I'm glad you didn't just butcher like I'd expect someone to by laying their interpretation of Daft Punk over the snippet.

Hopefully nowhere near the new album.
That clip was such a tease. I want more!
greatest moment from when I saw them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jn3PJPkVBrI
Alive 2007 is one of the best live albums of all time. That Face to Face and Short Circuit track is one of my favorites of theirs. Almost makes me want to stop listening to the studio versions.
get out of here

Guess I just evolved over 15 years. I'm not really into "happy" house anymore. I'd rather hear fast, hard, techno. i.e. Daft Punk in 1997
Times change, so I understand..

I think it sounds good, but this made me think. All the previous Daft Punk albums have sounded very fresh and original in their time. This sounds like what you'd expect from a new disco-leaning Daft Punk track. If the album doesn't blindside everyone and help shift the course of mainstream dance music, I'll be a little disappointed. It's been 8 years, surely they can do it again.Sounds like any nu disco song.

'Mainstream' dance music is way too wide now for anyone to push it in any particular direction now.
Exactly. It's totally possible to alter the course of popular, billboard dance music. Look at Skrillex. You mean like dubstep?
Sounds like any nu disco song.
I have Discovery, and Human after all, but is there something after that?
Was gonna say the guitar part sounds exactly like Chic. Not really surprising if this is a Nile Rogers collab!
