This doesn't sound too bad. I'm glad you didn't just butcher like I'd expect someone to by laying their interpretation of Daft Punk over the snippet.

Thanks, all I did was just add some slight filtering effects that capture that french house sound that Daft Punk used for Discovery.

At least I didn't trap it up or make a brostep remix, I know someone will by the end of this week :D

Alive 2007 is one of the best live albums of all time. That Face to Face and Short Circuit track is one of my favorites of theirs. Almost makes me want to stop listening to the studio versions.

Being there, with those visuals and a full crowd that was loaded with energy was one of the most surreal things

I need this now. I've been waiting for a new Daft Punk album for so long(loved Tron but it's a movie OST) and now I'm hyped.

There are millions of whiny 5-year olds on Earth, and I AM THEIR KING.
Can someone post a link to an mp3 download of the preview?

I thought the date in the title was talking about the release date for the new album.

Motherfucker.

Sounds like any nu disco song.
I think it sounds good, but this made me think. All the previous Daft Punk albums have sounded very fresh and original in their time. This sounds like what you'd expect from a new disco-leaning Daft Punk track. If the album doesn't blindside everyone and help shift the course of mainstream dance music, I'll be a little disappointed. It's been 8 years, surely they can do it again.

'Mainstream' dance music is way too wide now for anyone to push it in any particular direction now.

Was gonna say the guitar part sounds exactly like Chic. Not really surprising if this is a Nile Rogers collab!

Maybe I'm in the minority, here, but I much prefer their hard electronica stuff to their light discotech whatever.

Tron Legacy score gives me goosebumps every time. I want more of that.
