No idea if it's the most, but I had a shit ton of posts during an OT around June because of the first HaloGAF tourney.

We should have another one. And someone should make a top 10 plays from HaloGAF members every couple of weeks.

Good man... She's probably 30 or so lbs. She was 5 lbs my first vet visit (6 wks), 10lbs at her 2nd visit (9 wks) and 17 at her third (12 wks). It's been ~1 1/2 months since then. She's been pretty good though.. Crate trained and pretty much potty trained (only has a few accidents).
She's a pretty awesome companion. I work away from home all week so it's nice to have company after work. My gf (who got her for me) only gets to see her (and me) on the weekends and the pup grows quite a bit between each visit. It's pretty crazy looking back on her puppy pics because you don't notice the growth otherwise.
How's yours doing?

I think it's pretty safe to say that close matching in Throwndown is due to a variety of issues in play.
First - low population
Second - team matching with team priority
Third - true skill
I put them in this order because realistically, with such a low population, that takes preference over all other matching variables. Remember Reach with 20+ minute wait times if you had a full party of Onyx players in Arena? Yeah, that was with the same or larger population than Throwdown currently has.

How can it be random but also a sign of low population? Sounds like there is really no one thing to relate hw the teams got matched up.
Sounds great, can't imagine not seeing mine for a week though. He's about 25lbs or so now, and he's a hassle but worth it. I know what you mean about looking at old puppy pics, they grow so big so quick. He's gotta be neutered in a couple months, so we'll see how that turns out.
Its awesome to talk with someone who got a puppy around the same time lol.
It was random that they got matched up but there was a better chance of it happening because the population is so low.
Randomization has no room for better chances.

srsly though. Not true. Using the same RNG and seed values, your chances of choosing two specific points goes up when there are fewer points.
EDIT: This assumes that 2 points are always chosen of course. Essentially the range of values that each point would apply to has to increase proportionally if the RNG range is kept the same. If one extrapolates to a simplified matchmaking system, it's accurate to say a lower population gives two parties a better chance to match, even with everything else equal.
EDIT: shouldn't have used "points" but yeah...

Nah, I don't have a PC that could run it. He's GAF gold though, so he's had a ton of positive transactions. The price doesn't raise red flags either; before launch, there were promo codes that brought keys on Amazon to around $27.
