Yin is the One True Pairing, Canonical, Waifu. Confirmed in every ending of every iteration of the DtB franchise. OVA, S2, Manga, etc.

The DtB verse is actually a lot like Fast and the Furious - you know that at some point Tokyo Drift/Season Two must happen, but until then, you can have Han/Yin in as many spinoffs as you want. I hope they take advantage of that. Jet-Black Flower would make for a good season or two of anime, with an actual ending (a rarity for Bones!).

It's a shame BONES destroyed the whole franchise, because there's a lot of potential with the Hei/Yin on the run setup with Hei as a kind of Jason Bourne-esque superhero versus the world.

The second season sold more than most Bones' shows; the only thing stopping a third season is that Tensai Okamura ran out of ideas.

As for your idea, Yin is
dead.

In the third F&F movie, Tokyo Drift, Han dies.

In the fifth movie, Fast Five, he's back!

Japan/Bones can learn much from Justin Lin.

Is she?
I don't know how you can assume anything definite in that mess of an ending.
Either way, it wouldn't be hard to retcon.

Episode 16

It's kind of interesting how the show has more of an episodic nature but ties together it's supporting characters in the general narrative more than I think Smile did or Doki Doki is doing so far. It doesn't even draw attention to it but Nanami, the girl from the Mothers Day episode who asked about joining the fashion club and showing up from time to time, you see her there sitting with the other girls in the last episode. She's back again this episode but her little sister is with her as well. It's nice to see them in brighter spirits again with Tsubomi and the younger sister all "Ooooh!" at Azusa and her acting. The little sister does this again at Erika's enthusiasm. Nanami later with her thumbs up and "Deshou?!" at Erika's approval of her work along with her reaction face as well.

Episode 17

I'm thinking Tsubomi and her glasses are indeed kind of random, haha. She has them when she's with Erika but she's outside the shop so you could say you don't know who she'll meet as a customer. She was wearing them last episode when with the club who you think she would be comfortable around. She's at Erika's family business though so you could say she could run into someone again. This episode she's not wearing them at school though where in other episodes she is...It's ultimately not a big deal and I like her with or without them but just some things I've noticed regarding them.

I'm also not sure the problems for the person in this episode were really fully solved.
He seemed to be trying to imitate his fathers recipe which the father claimed was no good. Erika really liked his daifuku which he hoped everyone else had the same reaction to. Later as the kind of conclusion it's mentioned he should just try to make the customers happy instead of trying to imitate. I can kind of see that he shouldn't worry about the imitating side but I thought his daifuku was technically good even if he can still improve. It just seemed kind of weird how he wasn't being accepted but then didn't really seem to change anything and was now accepted. I don't know, it kind of felt like one of those there wasn't even a problem in the first place or just another example of the Japanese and their weird, vague, roundabout ways of trying to say something.

The OP is really good and has nice screenshots, need the full version of Genesia Aria right now, rewatched the OP at least three times in the episode. Hinohara is a good character and all his trust issue struggles, I hope Arata can help him across dimensions about it, seems like a character he could put trust in as well as one that Arata could help instill some confidence and what not into him. Kannagi, loved his character but I wish plot would do him better
why so mean and such the trial all the comments everything, why not listen to Arata.

He's a bad ass far more than a single time I'll have you know!

That's good to hear! Though I can't help but sense some bias with that avatar of yours, ha.
Anyway, I'm sure I would have a better feel for the characters if I had started at the beginning instead of watching random movies, but... 700 episodes is just way too intimidating. Even if they're not the best sample, random movies will have to do for now!

The Light of El Cantare
Uh, they're inherently sexualised, but I get what you mean

Clumsy wording I guess, but whether or not a sex act is depicted in a way that's intended to arouse the viewer is a conscious choice. Point here is that Ubukata took something reprehensible and tried to make it sexy.

Hayate Cuties 2

It's never that bright at 5 AM! Fuck this show!

As someone near the western border of my time zone, that kind of daylight would be unreasonable even at 6AM.

You should really watch the TV series eventually. It's a big undertaking, but the reward is more than worth it, and you'll get a much better appreciation for the series than you do just from the movies.

You ought to just run yourself through the first season. I know 700 episodes was really intimidating for me, but I loved the show when I watched just a couple back when it was on Adult Swim, and after consistently just watching it and getting hooked, before I knew it I was totally up to date. Seriously! One season ain't too bad.

I kinda had the same confusion. My best guess was that
the whole comparison with him and his dad/grandpa with Cure Blossom/Marine and Moonlight applied to their resolutions as well. I think (I'm not quite sure) that Blossom and Marine came to the conclusion that what Moonlight thinks of them really doesn't matter. They are the ones fighting to protect the people and restore the tree, and that's what they need to focus on. Same with daifuku guy; his father and grandpa seemed to be all "Now you get it!" when he realized that he shouldn't be worrying about making daifuku to please them. He should be making his daifuku to please the customers, as it is them he is making it for and will be tasting it.

Course that has its own issues, like,
he didn't suddenly realize how to make daifuku the proper way for the customers.
But this show kinda has a thing where it'll go "If you put your heart and love into it, it'll magically come out great!" at some points, and I guess this is another example.

I might be totally wrong, btw. That's just how I saw it.

I lost interest in Conan after I realize how the sense of time in there are a lot worse than Sazae-chan.

Sazae-san doesn't care about time. No one grows up. There is no apparent movement of time in the whole thing so it doesn't matter.

The problem with Conan is that there's a mystery and people actually want to see the plot move forward and for Conan to finally get his body back. That's what's causing the frustration.

They have murder case on every next day or what? Why the other kids not got bigger yet? so many question.

Oreimo S2 - 1 & 2

The new OP is rather bland. I wish they had just stuck with S1's OP, but gotta get dat revenue.

Ep. 1

Nothing significant really happened. I'll sum up my opinions of the heroines with a point table. Should be interesting to see who wins my heart by the end of the season.

Appeal table (total points):

Kirino: +5 (5)

She's gone back to being a cold, shrewd little sister that pays no attention to Kyousuke when it doesn't benefit her. :( She was kind of cute in that intro scene when they were kids, though.

Kuroneko★: +20 (20)

Her fidgety, nervous reaction when Kyousuke asked her about the meaning behind her kiss was super moe. Despite little screen time, she was the star of the episode.

Manami: +5 (5)

I'm not a huge fan of her but she was slightly cute when helping out Kyousuke. I'll throw her some pity points.

Ep. 2

Decent episode. Kirino is so adorable when she's lost in her eroges. I wish she'd stay in that perpetual stupor more often than not. :(

Kirino★: +20 (25)

Her personality is so charming when she's glued to her games.

Kuroneko: 0 (20) - No appearance during this episode.

Ayase: +15 (15)

Dat tsuntsun. It's a shame that she'll likely never fight for Kyousuke's feelings. :|

Manami: +10 (15)

Points for the effort shown trying to imitate Ayaka-chan.

The character designs in the ED looked pretty nice. I wonder how they'd compare to the current ones in motion.

Yeah, I was thinking along those same lines as far as the parallels but it's kind of like what you mentioned with the daifuku guy. There was the scene when you first meet him where
the father says his flavors are too powerful or something and he needs to learn how to properly make traditional daifuku. In the end they seem to not care anymore how he makes it as long as the customers are happy. Why not just say that? "Instead of looking for my approval, look to see if your customers enjoy it." Done.

I guess ultimately it was maybe to draw parallels between the girls but it just kind of came out weird for his side of the story.

And I have so many answers for you!

They have murder cases every day? Yes, you are correct. They run into cases, Kogoro's pulled into cases, they hear about cases— the plot is entirely revolved around cases and this is for one simple plot relevant reason: Shinichi postures himself to be the nucleus of all criminal activity in the prefecture he resides so that he can get himself closer to the Black Organization. He lives in a private detective agency: when Kogoro or Ran make reference to business being slow, they don't say they haven't had a case in weeks or months, they say days. So what we can derive from that is that on typical days they're balancing more than a single case. Cases all the time. Also we can factor in tip offs of cases from the Professor as well (to a slightly smaller degree) the Metropolitan Police and the Detective boys. So where does that leave us? Conan actively putting himself in a murder case every day. Why? Because that's the plot. I don't think that's too unreasonable!

As for the passage of time, let's decide that each episode represents a single case and that represents a 24 hour period of time. That's not the case, as the majority of the crimes are solved at the location that they're discovered in. Definitely not a whole day ordeal. Let's dislodge Anime Original episodes from the continuity, as those are openly and decidedly not canonical. That leaves us with about 435 episodes. Of those 435 episodes, 171 of them are more than 1 part. There are quite a few cases that span more, but for the benefit of the argument we'll say they're all only two parters. Nearly all of those take place in a single day, but, again, for the benefit of the argument we'll round that down to 150 for the odd duck episodes that take place for more than a 24 hour period of time. That leaves us with 285 episodes that may represent a 24 hour period. In other words, less than a year. Why have the kids not grown up? It fits perfectly within the time frame. In fact, i'll go ahead and say they do look like they've grown about a years worth of time from episode 1 to episode 696.

It's a really easy argument when you say it out loud, but I think it's a pretty trivial and cheap excuse to not watch a pretty excellent show!

What you're saying is that there is nearly a crime everyday and Conan is involved in all of them?

I remember a joke a coworker told me a long time ago. How, if you're in some kind of party and you see Detective Conan there, its best to run away because there's a good chance you'll be the victim of some kind of crime.

I didn't enjoy this episode as much as the first one. Hopefully the plot starts picking up soon.

Only thing that caught my eye was the lovely lighting during sunset.

I'm being hypothetical with the time frame of course. If we said that "All of Detective Conan takes place in a two year span" you'd still have something like 445 days of no cases.

This is all just to say that it's not that far-fetched within the fictional anime logic. A better argument is why do they happen to be around the cases before they even happen. To which I will respond "He got turned into a child and this is your breaking point?".

That's the twist at the end of the series. The Black Organization actually wants him dead because he's cursed and brings death with him wherever he goes. Eventually, his very existence would bring about a large scale calamity, killing millions. The Organization are actually the good guys, trying to prevent that from happening.

Okay, a few things. One, Saya, stop singing. You're singing the same fucking song every time except you're slightly changing the lyrics based on what happened that morning. It's boring. Second, what's the deal with that dog? And third, how dense can Saya be? Jesus, if that guy looked at her and said, "I want to put by throbbing penis in your wet vagina and bury my face into your tits", she'd be all, "Uhh...what do you mean?" I mean, there's airheaded, and then there's just completely living off in your own world.

Fight scenes are still the best. This one actually did a pretty good job building up tension, though I'm not sure what the deal with that guy who walked on the train was. I'm assuming he was the bakery owner, but he seemed to be in some trance as he entered the train, and then he all of a sudden came to just before the Elder Bairn had its way with him. And how high are these monsters' blood pressures? It literally starts raining blood when she stabs them.

And what's with this fucking narrator? "There are parts of us that can't be changed. But what if these parts could be changed? But the important question is, can you change them?"......FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

Stupid show. I could have watched Heartcatch, but nooooooooooo.

You find out after the Vermouth arc that the setting is actually dystopian and the planet earth has gone through radical shifts that force the climate to rapidly change. This, of course, gives them about 15 summers a year.
