The K-ON! community has an IRC!! That's #kongaf at irc.rizon.net. | Don't want to use mibbit because it sucks but don't know what else to use? Here's the solution!

K-ON! began as a four-panel comic-strip manga written and illustrated by Kakifly in May 2007, and ended on September 9, 2010 with a total of 4 volumes. The manga folows our hero Yui through her high school career where she joins the light music Club and makes friends with Mio, Ritsu, Mugi, and Azusa. The manga was licensed by Yen Press for English release, and volumes 1-4 are now available at various retailers. K-ON! COLLEGE will be available July 2013, while K-ON! HIGH SCHOOL will be available October 2013.

K-ON! Hōkago Live!! is a PSP rhythm game developed by Sega. The gameplay involves you matching button presses in time with music featured in the anime. 19 songs in total featured from the first anime season and first set of character song CDs. Though the real meat of the game is that you can customize the clothing, hair style and accessories of the HTT girls, plus you can decorate both the club room and Yui's bedroom. K-ON! Hōkago Live!! was released in Japan on September 30, 2010.
A HD port of K-ON! Hōkago Live!! was released for the PlayStation 3 on June 21, 2012.
Unfortunately, there are no plans for a western release, however both games can be imported, region free, here, and the game is quite easy to understand and navigate through menus with little to no Japanese language experience.
K-On! Hōkago Rhythm Time is an upcoming arcade rhythm game, developed by Atlus, which hopefully means Sega can't just sit on the license anymore. The game features trading cards as rewards that can be used to get new songs in the game. A game I'll probably never get to play, but it sounds cool!

Besides music singles and video games there are all sorts of kinds of K-ON! merchandise. Ranging from anime figures, to body pillows, to toasters, to trading cards. Think of anything and there's most likely a K-ON! themed version.

Nice touch at the !! in the title.
Which makes me wonder what the hell I'm going to do if we reach OT3!
I wonder why Yui isn't confident enough to not wear tights
Because they're comfy and easy to wear? No wait, that's shorts.
Though the one character you seem to never see in pants is Mugi. Outside of her gym jersey, you practically never see her in pants.
Monster Hunter 3DS with the Circle Pad Pro.
Mio's 3DS is the Animal Crossing edition, and Azunyan got the red Vita which is the Soul Sacrifice version I guess.

I gave her a red Vita mostly so she could match with Yui's red 3DS.

Yay! New thread!!

I love you guys.

Damn shame I didn't hit 600 posts in the last one :((

You were close enough for me <3

Also, yay, ~Top 10~

The systems were a great touch!

Sad that can't do anything with the Houkago on the ground.
They'll play it on one of Mugi's Plasmas.

You two came so late, so it's quite a feat. I guess you guys might be to blame for making it to OT2 so fast. lol

Do what KyoAni don't. "!!!"
Or do it like Working, "'!!"
Or, just do it reboot style with one !, like the movie.

It's probably a little early to worry about this. Let's hope by then they get around to that S3.

Does the manga even extend to a possible S3?

Yay, Stark! We're excellent
spammers
contributors! How much of the series have you seen?

I love Houkago, I need to get my butt in gear and watch more of the series, I have so much of it I've never seen, so I suppose I'm lucky.

Also, I changed my Avatar as well. Whoo~

You ask this now?

And like Chet says, she has European heritage. Also, her family holidays a lot in Finland, which would suggest they could likely be of Finnish descent, who are known as being predominantly blonde.
She could be from Austria as well, since that's where Sumire is originally from. Not sure why she has a Japanese name, but whatever.
Why don't we ever see her elegant, European mother?
You never see her house even.
