GAF needs to start accepting that this is a good idea and that Polyphony won't be content with anything beyond a Prologue release on new hardware by the year 2015.
They're slavish perfectionists. They won't be content with some mere up-port.
You should be happy with this because Sony will actually have a game that will sell this Christmas on a system with a massive install base. That's more than they had last year.

Well its continuing with the 2 GTs a system tradition.
PS1 had GT 1 and 2
PS2 had GT 3 and 4
PS3 has GT 5 and 6
PS1 had GT 1 and 2

PS4 sounds like it will have an awesome launch without GT, and it's not like the GT fans are going to go anywhere. Sony can just put selling to them on hold until later.
Meanwhile, they can cash in with GT6. Not like they are sweating losing the fans to Forza, right?
Besides, there's always cross-platform, right?

They're doing promotional stuff at the game and Yoshida was in London recently.

im still amazed GT 5 sold so well. Im guessing there will be a gt6 hardware bundle that will last for years into the life of ps4 and people will still be buying that.
So now we have gow:A, beyond: two souls, last of us, gt6, and pupeteer this year alone for 1st party exclusives, then theres rumors of versus going cross gen so I expect it to release around next year well past ps4 launch to keep the hype, amd we have smaller titles like rain, until dawn, the kingdom hearts hd collection and ff10 hd collection. And also a repackaging of MGS 1- peacewalker.
I wonder how much gt 6 will sell... I just hope its a really god like simultation game that pushes the ps3 to the end.

No doubt it's a mockup but I think we're hearing too much buzz about this project for it to at least not be considered as a genuine listing.
Tracks are free. Cars are $1.99 each.
it takes polyphony ages to put one game on one platform, so i doubt it will be on ps4. also, why release drive club and gt6 at the same time on ps4?

I'm hoping for a delayed (6 months) upgrade edition.
I was thinking about selling it if I would get the PS4 on Day one because I like to keep the less amount of connected Consoles possible fellow GAFfer (I'm a fan of a minimalistic Setup).
But with this, The Last of Us, BEYOND and EU PS Plus it's going to keep me company for a longer time, it seems.

if it's delayed for ps4, i think we'd all be better off waiting for gt7 rather than pushing that even further out with polyphony porting gt6 first. i say polyphony because i doubt they'd let someone else port the game.

I think the timing is just bad overall. I blame yoshida for this because if the rumors of gt6 are true, gt6 on the pa3 will be directly competing against driveclub on the ps4.
I was expecting them to delay gt6 until next year and try to get the GT fanbase on board with driveclub. This may split the userbase, and have a direct influence ojn driveclubs performance.
It will be even funnier to watch if both of these games bring out full guns and are both amazing in eir own ways. id still go with the arcade racer any day.

PD works on Valve time. Was hoping the game would be for PS4, but obviously they want to cash in on the larger PS3 user base. Drive Club it is then.
On a slightly weirder topic, what if ps4 and sony surprise us all with bc?
