Now on ice.

You don't need to be empathetic towards me.
This looks good, hitting was my big complaint about NHL 13. It was terrible.

Junior, please.
It actually looks pretty great, it's just not a video of them fixing stuff that needs to be fixed so that tempers my excitement somewhat.

This looks pretty fantastic. I have not played any NHL game proper since 96, but I try the demos every year... I'm waiting for the one that just feels nice to play and does the sport jusitce. Those hits look the part, for sure, aside from some crazy-legs here and there... but in normal game speed with normal game cameras I'll be they look fine.

Collision Physics, is a nice addition. The Problem with this in Madden and NHL is, when will they start to produce the injuries you obviously see Limbs (knees, ankles arms hands, & fingers) twisting in a variety of unnatural ways and never resort in an injury. It ruins the game for me to see all that contortion and defender bodies piling on and nothing happens to the player(s). Immersion zapped right out of the product.

I spent way too much time with this...anyways, the thing about NHL series is that everything is getting to be a broken record.

In the trailer posted:
00:34 "NHL Collision Physics now takes player's size, speed, momentum, and body positioning into account, to deliver more realistic hits"

Whoa, deja vu.

Hm.......

"With NHL 11's new physics engine, the game no longer scripts hits with predetermined animations. Not only will your big hits and small bumps alike take into account player ratings, but also size and the speed at which you make contact with the other player."

"What I' wanna show you here is a little of the substance of what you're gonna see game in and game out of NHL12, where the size of players, physicality of players, the momentum of players, really matter in every single collision.

"The great thing about the physics is... its real world physics. What we do is we don't make physics for hockey, what we do is we just model what happened in the real world and apply it to hockey. So a person a person going at top end speed, that is...you know... 6'3", 6'4", 250, is going to pretty much run over anything in it's path"

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Oh, that says "New Collision Physics."

I originally read it as "A new way for people to glitch the game and cheat online."
