The closeup shot of the USB ports is obviously CG, but it could still be placeholder.

The fact that the console is CG means nothing. All kinds of hardware, including cars etc in ads nowadays are CG.

I think the biggest giveaway that it could be fake is that the XO[]/\ look wrong. X is supposed to be like a rotated cross, not a letter X from a typical font. [] is supposed to be a square and not rectangle. Well and the Audio CD thing too of course.

If that is unseen infamous footage then that gives it a lot more credibility but I'd still call fake because it looks dumb as hell and also sounds stupid. I just can't see it being a real ad. But considering I'm buying it day one anyway I don't really care about the marketing.

That might explain the old game footage... if I understood how anything like this works on the inside, anyways. CD thing is still funky though.

I think that was from the initial trailer. And you'd be surprised by how good production quality is from YouTube people these days with the advent of inexpensive ways to do professional video (DSLRs) and intuitive video editing programs like Final Cut Pro. I'm not outright saying its fake, but I wouldn't be surprised for a second if it was.
