"All Seeing Eye"?

Chick sees when everyone will die, something about seeing/going to the future in 1 million years, and Gundams, oh my.

Amazing album.

Trailer looked interesting. Always interested to see what Japan Studio is up to.

I feel like I've seen this before of GAF thread nonetheless. Wasn't there a rumor that a God of War game was going to use this same name?

Maybe this game has been in development for a long time if my memory serves right!

I was interested, but I'm a little sick to death of the Japanese obsession with high school hipsters.

Looks like an action JRPG?

Any confirmation on platforms?

Looks good. Doesn't look PS4 good for sure though. PS3, maybe Vita?

Looks really cool.

best part is that we don't have to worry (as much) about localization.

I kinda wish it was a next gen game because I fear for the further death of stylized games..not everything needs to be realistic

I'm pretty sure I could liberate North Korea if I could afford a sweet pair of Grados

It made me think of an anime where they could see the days left of someone's life above their head. I'm sure the numbers aren't for their life expectancy and it's more or less their bar code since that imagery is used.

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.

I can't see SMT here, nothing all that devilish. Definitely more God Eater.

Pretty neat trailer; it's got my attention now. Hopefully we get to see some gameplay at the reveal and announce it's platform(s).

Reminds me of the death clock in Devil Survivor as well as the Shinigami Eyes in Death Note.

Outside of that and the modern setting it doesn't really look like SMT. I guess the graphical style looks a bit similar to the prerendered Digital Devil Saga cutscenes?

I think it could still be a Vita title but wouldn't be surprised if it's PS3 or PS3/Vita. I doubt it's a PS4 title.

it's gonna be psp/vita title

or, it's a multimedia thing where they'll announce anime, manga, and multiple games for this, kinda like what level 5 usually do with their games.

scej hasn't done a new psp release since like 2011

and multimedia projects seem to hard for sony to do

that long? wow, I never realize.

Sony need to start doing some kid friendly multimedia project like what level 5 is doing. make invizmal rpg, they already working on tv series, although that seems to target the europe market and not japan. how big is invizmal in japan?

The Invizimals games were never released in Japan, and honestly I'm not sure it's a great idea for SCE to target Vita to children in that market. They'll never beat Nintendo in that arena, and they've lost LBX.

which is insane when you really think about it. Ratchet, Sly, Jak all have great potential for franchises that could appeal to a wide audience, even more so to kids, its always been kind of crazy that Sony does not take the oppritunities given them to expand their franchises in ways that would be much harder todo for MS, and Nintendo.

Ratchet should have happened when Future Tools was released. SCEA does the games, and Sony pictures does the movie. A God of War movie, Uncharted, even something like Knack could work, but they just dont sieze those chances when they are ripe. I dont think ill ever understand why, if Sonys divisions could work together like that their potential could shoot through the roof for marketing and exposure. Hell they coukd even have some of their most note worthy artists from their record label take pictures with their products.

If Taylor Swift was was walking around with a Vita it could sell some units.

No wander Sony didn't announce this before. My hype for Soul Sacrifice might have been killed -thankfully it didn't- if I knew about this before. Shit, my hype for God Eater 2 just went down a bit.

Ok, Let's summarize the possible things we can get from this trailer:-

- It's a story driven game.
- The numbers or barcodes play an important role to the gameplay or the plot.
- The maps cover a large area with multiple targets. There is a navigation system too.
- Co-op boss fight, possibly 8 players.
- Some monsters/giant machines fight on your side, can shoot a lot of missiles. You can ride on them also?
- Guns used as the primary weapons.
- Weird looking knives with jet engine used to finish off the boss in conjunction with the grappling vine. Jet engines on them probably to give a post jump.
- The rectangle boxes things on their back serve as the inventory management/health indicator systems.

Anything else?

Alot of european cars (Audi,Skoda,Opel) and it even looks like a european licence plate in the street scene.
The streets resemble San Francisco.

The Most Dangerous Yes Man
That was just a lot of random scenes cut together, none of which made sense.

The dinosaur thing reminded me of digimon.

The character designs/aesthetics remind me of Persona 4. Not the same studio, but perhaps conceptualized by the same artist?

Looks neat anyhow. Hoping for a JRPG and localization. All the fancy CG could easily be cutscenes for what could be an 8 character party in a JRPG, fighting a boss. Or... Monster Hunter clone X... sigh...

No one wants a throne you've been sitting on!
Yeah, also..

Theres also the hands uncovering in the dirt the Yugoslavian TM-RP6 anti-tank mine, which I had mentioned earlier in this thread.

The streets resemble San Francisco.

The only crossing with "Battery" as a street with a trolley car system in San Fran is "California & Battery". With the part that looks like its going uphill would be East on California at that intersection, but its a pretty far distance away.

Interesting though that if it is San Fran why the license plates are the European ones?

(Move the marker from the link down a bit to find the correct intersection of California & Battery. Once at the intersection face the camera East in the street view)

Looks pretty cool. I'll be a little disappointed if it's a Monster Hunter though (even though the only similar game I've played is Soul Sacrifice)
