New Dragon's Crown trailer

Trailer translation

Elf skills from 0:17-0:18
As the screen is scrolling up, the skill shown is "Option Dagger". Allows you to pick up daggers.
The next skill is "Salamandra Oil". It allows you to add fire to bow and dagger attacks, and can be toggled.
The last skill shown is "Elemental Roar". Attack with the power of fairies (use by holding the square button where the faries' power can be found).

And for a split second you can see a dwarf skill "Eagle Dive", which you activate by pressing X after double jumping (the dwarf can double jump?!)

0:27, the menu with the sorceress as the background picture
Seems like you can customize your loadout and inventory before you go adventuring into a dungeon.

0:33, notice the NPC in the background. Giving me memories of saving villagers in Golden Axe.

I have no idea what's going on with the runes used by the wizard and the fighter. "Strength Beyond Strength" gives invincibility for a short time.

You can bring back the bones of other adventurers and have them join your party.

At 1:05, just before the dragon breathes fire, the sorceress uses a tome of protection to reduce the damage the entire party takes.

Anyone catch what the narrator is saying at 1:09? "Network を通じて、(something)共闘プレーでも可能"

1:30, there's a shot with lots of food. And we all know how good food in Vanillaware games look. There's lots of cursors, looks like it could be some sort of minigame.

That is going to look stunning on Vita, the boss fights look pretty crazy too...does the Vita version have online multiplayer or only adhoc and PS3 connectivity?

Whoa, menus overload! Abilities selection, weapons selection, escort mission, traps!

Did that screen with vitas and PS3 controllers mean up to 4 players from either medium can play together?

And STILL no EU release date, wtf :(

Four player co-op offline and online (PS3) as well as ad hoc and online (Vita). No cross-play. Cross-saves are the only cross-platform feature.

^ You sure no vita+ps3 locally? That picture was really bloody confusing then:

So Vita does have online? Excellent, definitely want to play this with other people most times.

Platinum Trophy: Learned to Shit While Upright Again.
This is going to be the best $100 I spend for the Game of the Year for me!

$50 for PS3
$40 for Vita
(Shipping + Tax for $10)
I get 2 Art-books too, De-Fucking-licious!

That chick with the 2 panthers, I so hoped she was an unlock-able class, GODDAMN, I need her in the sequel stat!, Beastmaster anyone?

This is what a video game should be. Cool characters, epic music, items items and more items, enemies everywhere, tons of numbers and icons, particle effects out the ass and motherfucking menus and shit.

Why do I even need to say it....Day one, of course. I might switch my pre-order from Vita to PS3. I'm getting a new TV tomorrow, and the thought of playing this game on a 50" screen is mouth watering. Still, dat Vita OLED is nothing to sneeze at either.

Ugh, no cross play or cross buy :(

It's a third party game. It's not surprising. That would have been the sprinkles and cherry on top.

Seems like the controversy around this game died out.

Good. People realized that the faux outrage, was, in fact, bullshit. I'm glad it happened though. More people were exposed to a really good game. Now more people will buy it and enjoy it.

Thank you so much for making the trailer more than just a bunch of pretty pictures moving about.

that strength beyond strength and the bright light that cleared all the enemies should be stage gimmicks, judging from the caption

the strength beyond strength gives you temporary invulnerability

Art books? How? Where? TELL US.

Nevermind. Pre-ordered at EB. Wish their 6/8/2013 release date was accurate!

Some other info from the official site, which was updated recently:

The town contains a magic item shop, run by a woman named Morgan Rizely. Items can be bought or sold there, and you can pay her to identify any treasure you pick up (like Cain from Diablo). Some items have equipment restrictions (probably just level checks) and have durability. Fortunately they do not disappear from your inventory when their durability goes to 0, she can repair your items for a fee.

The adventurer's guild is run by the armoured man, named Samuel. You spend your skill points and get quests at the guild. You can also view your Treasure Arts (e.g. that lovely lady with the two panthers posted above) at the gallery in the guild. You might get Treasure Arts as quest rewards.

Other NPCs in town:
Vivian, the princess.
Rukain, the wizard. You can get hints from him.
Gustav, the prime minister. In contrast to the quiet princess, he's rather chatty.
The monk. He worships Artena, the goddess of mercy.
Dean. He is brother to the king, and Vivian's uncle. He seems to have something against Vivian and Gustav.

Your fellow adventurers:
Loni, the thief. Opens locked doors and chests. Don't count on him in a fight.
Tiki, the fairy. She serves as a guide.
