New Hunter x Hunter Anime |OT| of Hunters and adventure and NO MANGA SPOILERS

Yeah I forgot exactly how strong Hisoka was. But to be fair [manga spoilers]
aside from what Togashi said, you can't really know. We always get stuff about Hisoka being strong, but Kite only appeared in the manga for something like 20 chapters. We only have Togashi's word to go off of.

Kite's actually pretty weak but still strong. As I said, Togashi made an official power ranking so you know how strong someone is, it's the outcome of a battle that's hard to measure. The chart spoils for those who don't know certain Ants so I wont post it, and I'm not sure how to spoil images. Anyway, here's where Kite stands from a segment of it with certain names omitted.

Biscuit
Chrollo
Hisoka
Razor
Kite
Genthru
Gon
Killua
Wing

Power Levels

Thanks, i'm pretty suprised that Bisky is that high though

This was a pretty good episode, but I really hate that anime trope where people think about combat scenarios forever. It really messes up the pacing.

no sign of the king on that list

I loved Kite's fight scene. Would have been cool to see him take that guy out without using his ability.

Killua was such a badass during this episode, was good to see Gon's new move, they never showed him learning that one though?

Bisky over Hisoka, Chrollo, and Kite is very hard to believe. Again I don't read the manga so maybe there are a few surprises later in the show

Bisky being over these people doesn't really surprise me (just an anime watcher here). From what we've seen so far, I don't think we've really seen her skills.

As for the most recent episode: it's just awesome! Killua is a BA and Gon's new attack was pretty cool. Kite is just awesome to me right now. :)

You guys might want to tag all manga spoilers as such. It's still an anime thread, so others might think you're talking about the anime or something.

I always thought that he learned it while he was training with Biscuit doing that one specific training exercise where he had to shoot a projectile from his hand.

Damn, I've never seen that. Is that a pure strength thing, or does it take into account everything? Crazy that Biscuit is so high. The dodgeball match should have been over in a second.

Edit: I didn't actually see the chart. Looks like it takes into account a lot of things.

I thought that was the move he was going to use for "Paper"?

He probably learnt it around the same time, but I don't remember seeing him learn that specific move.

Really loved the adaptation of the 3rd challenge so far, sad that the violence is censored, though I do enjoy Killua's ability to make a bag appear out of nowhere

Biscuit has always been hinted to be a monster, we've really only gotten to see her fight once and even then, it was so brief and one-sided it wasn't funny. And to be fair, she kind of got screwed in that Dodgeball match since she had on that huge skirt, if she had been wearing something more practical and shifted into man-lady form, she probably would have murdered Razor with one throw.

The fact that she could probably beat Chrollo and Hisoka both (Stats wise, although anything could happen in a fight) speaks volumes to her power.

I think that "bag" was improvised from that guy's shirt, or at least that's what would make sense to me :I

The book lists all his individual parameters as "?".

Well, I guess that's appropiate considering he's just so far above everyone that the exact stats are just completely irrelevant anyways.

Never read the manga but
why don't I see Ging in any list? I thought Netero said he's one of the most powerful Nen users?

simply because we haven't seen anything from him. nor an indication of what his abilities can do. for all we know his abilities might not even related to fighting.

Just saw the latest episode - WOW. What an amazing story arc, Hunter x Hunter continually surprises me with how far it goes in regards to its brutality. I've definitely got to start reading the manga again, there's no way I can wait week by week to see what comes next in the Chimera Ant arc.

I think here's the correct ranking after the Chimera Arc

Huge Spoiler from the Manga
0. Alluka
1. Revived King
2. Netero
3. Super Gon
4-6 Royal Guards
.. the rest

Alluka has no fighting skills AT ALL and only Killua can use her without absurd risks.
Base King was already stronger than Netero, remember he was only scratched after Netero's Zero
Super Gon can hurt Base King based on Pitou so it might be between King & Netero based or beyond

Last episode was good and damn Ants got Nen power now!
Next will be awesome too!

Super Gon is stronger than Old Netero, but weaker than him at his prime.

Yes, the emission training was meant to be the basis for Gon's "paper" power.
"Scissors" is transmutation so the training related to it would be one we see briefly in the anime when Biscuit tells Gon to form the shapes of the numbers from 1 to 9 with his Nen in under a minute.
The following isn't actually a spoiler because it already happened or should have happened but the anime skipped it:
In the manga when Killua returns from the Hunter exam, Gon shows him his 2 new powers. "Rock" was a tiny nen ball which moved slowly and "Scissors" was a small Nen blade with just enough power to cut a stick (and he admitted he got lucky cutting the stick because it didn't always work).

The anime showed that, I'm pretty sure.

Are you sure? I remember Gon telling Killua and Biscuit how he planned his 3 moves to work after Biscuit explained the Yan Ken game but not actually doing the moves.

I could be getting mixed up, but I think it was shown. I could also be thinking of the 99 G.I. for scissors. Everything is melted together and I honestly can't differentiate the manga, 99 anime and 2011 anime apart.

Rammot and Cheetu's designs are just so distracting animated. A bikini bottom with a bunny tail along with booty shorts plus their color schemes just draws the eye. In the manga, I barely noticed.

I'm hoping this HxH remake is successful enough that people will stop asking if my username came from .Hack or the Kite anime that is half porn..

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this arc would be this good.

Thank you Based Togashi and Madhouse for giving me this.

What's really bizarre is, this is the most consistent anime I've ever seen both in art and animation,it's really really weird.

Thank Madhouse once again for making great work out of scribbles *cough*turkeypage*cough* and art shifts. I wanted to post one of the charts for Illumi and Hisoka's shifts, but that would spoil a bit for the anime only viewers.

If you think that's bad, just wait till the arc after next. I'd recommend reading the manga for the full gore. It makes the Dark Tournament from YYH look like child's play.

Hey guys for someone who watched the original series up to 62, what ep of the new series should you pick up from?
My memory from the old series is fading. What was episode 62? Did the old series even finish York Shin? I don't remember. My suggestion though is to watch this new series from the start. It's really good and I remember from MANGA GAF back when I used to post, that you were a HxH fan. This new series goes by fast.
