The framerate in Killzone was fricking excellent. No slowdown whatsoever during my MP match, nor my single player run through. I was incredibly impressed. The game looks and feels good. If you are a Killzone fan, then I can't see how this would disappoint in that regard.

While I felt that Shadowfall, while gorgeous, was really cool, it didn't really feel like Killzone to me when I was watching the demonstration. Mercenaries reminds me of Killzone 2. I really, really enjoyed it!

Also, I forgot to ask if the game supported bots. Sorry! Hopefully it will. Fighting against bots can be a lot of fun!

I think he meant Vita has a good E3 showing. I don't think he mentioned it had a good showing at the press conference. There's all kinds of games on the show floor.

Nothing new though, right? Just indies and the couple of "AAA" titles that were already known about for a long time (Tearaway, Killzone, etc.)

Sorry, but PS+ offers me nothing and forcing me to use it to play Battlefield 4 online is no.

Might as well put my money into better hardware, not get charged $50 extra a year to play Battlefield and save money

My man. I wanted a port of Disgaea D2 or SOMETHING AAA. Instead we get indies and ports of things that are probably already on five other systems. Don't get me wrong the port of Dead Nation and Walking Dead is nice... but they aren't enough.

I haven't even touched my handheld in the past two days. I can't muster the urge to play it when I know Sony is probably going to update the damn thing to paywall the online

Someone talk me out of AC:Liberation. I dislike the games but the settings and main characters are always so intriguing. I swore the series off after the original but AC3 sucked me back in and that didn't turn out so well.

I remember "console experience on the go"( the premise I bought Vita for) sadly not only they dropped that completely but now it's not even "old console experience on the good" now it's "indies no one care about on the go"

and if SCEA want to bring old ports why not good games instead of interactive zombie comic and boring zombie dual sticks shooter? these picks were really bad, why not GOW3 instead of GOW1/2 , why not Journey instead of flower, why not the some of the early PS3 games (Warhawk, Folklore, Resistance, Untold Legend, MotorStorm,F1CE..ect) that many people missed but with trophies and few extras here and there.

they just failed with such an easy task as picking good old games to port, this sort of incompetence is beyond repair.

I know Sony is probably going to update the damn thing to paywall the online

If you buy no games, PS+ gives you free rentals to play and judging by the current quality of the service there's likely going to be something you'll enjoy playing. And if you buy tons of games and already own all those IGC titles, then you would benefit from the PS+ discounts.

Unless you don't really give a shit about anything except Battlefield, in which case yeah, you're one of the very few people for whom it really sucks with no benefits at all.

That is of course assuming PS+ will remain as awesome as it is now and at least for now I think it's a valid concern. But we'll see.

I held off on the PS3 version just for the Vita version and hoped we would have a date around now.

surely its about a company disseminating new info to the consumers and media.

and the new stuf they showed was pathetic, there is simply no other way to look at it.

Then Atlus posted to the twitter that they'll be releasing games already planned out, phew...

I preordered a PS4 last night at Amazon so I will have games to play on my Vita next year :p

I know that may have sounded tongue in cheek, but seriously to be positive if they do pull off this all PS4 games streaming to Vita thing, or even half of them I am honest to goodness excited by this and I will preach to you why right now.

DC UNIVERSE AND FINAL FANTASY XIV

I have been beating my drum for a DC Universe vita port and if they don't do it this is the next best thing. I don't have time to sit and grind on mmorpgs but i do like them. The same reason I like Vita for a console experience on a handheld giving me more freedom is the main reason i'm excited for this. This would mean, if they pull it off and make good on their promise, I can be playing DC Universe upressed on PS4 along with FFXIV in all its beautiful glory on my beautiful Vita screen. Even better if they get the chat function to work with the Sony Headphone mic. This may not appeal to everyone, but it does sound pretty freaking awesome to me.

Just got Persona 4 Golden and Soul Sacrifice recently. You know, I'm really starting to hate that vita battery life now. It just dies at horrible times. Can't wait for Ys Celceta and Meruru.

great post thanks. Killzone and batman footage have got me in a better mood now. First time I have seen how the batman game will work and I think it looks really good. I loved Asylum but thought City was just to similar and the city was dull. A change in style but with similar mechanics could be a great thing.

Do we have indicative release date and target price for TWD? I already have it on Steam but still need to play it, wouldn't mind waiting for the Vita version if it's not too expensive and releasing in this lifetime.

I was skeptical about the gameplay change in SEVEN, but I ended up really enjoying it. Can't wait to get my hands on Celceta. It still hasn't received an official EU/AU release date though, has it?

In the worst case scenario, it's no major issue for me to import the US version. I doubt there would be any DLC beyond a possible Japanese voice pack akin to Soul Sacrifice.

Yeah, that Batman video is surprisingly good. Watching it though, made me think how great it would work as a Batmanvania type game. An interesting faux 2D exploring game would be great as the upgrade mechanics works so well in the Arkham console games.

I know there's a PSP thread here someplace, but I dunno where, but Natsume apparently is releasing a PSP game called Mystic Chronicles developed by Kemco.

Apparently they announced it in April, but they just released a bunch of screens.

Some framerate hiccups here and there but game-able. Any hands on impressions? Can't tell from the video but is it at least 30 fps.

Batman, Rayman, Killzone, Tearaway are insta-buys!!
