Nintendo’s big new 3DS release from last week ‘Animal Crossing: New Leaf’ remains at No2 (-55%) and EA climb 2 places to No3 with ‘FIFA 13’ (+62%) with an ASP average over all formats dropping to under £25 for the first time. This week’s highest new release is PQube’s ‘MotoGP 13’ at No15 – developed by Milestone, this is a return to a franchise last seen back in 2008 with ‘MotoGP 08’, published back then by Capcom.

Depressing for the Vita version of Moto GP 13, it never even made the VITA chart!

EDIT: From Guardian, 4% of total. Same as PC percentage actually, so digital downloads would tell the story there.

Awesome hold for TLoU! There were shortages thru out the whole week, so the drop could have been even smaller.

The release calender looks pretty barren to comming few months, so AC and TLoU are going to be up there for a while. Haha I guess the perfect duo for the summer season.

For your information, here's how Animal Crossing is doing on several eShop charts (with the reminder it's one of the titles involved in the "So many games!" promotion)

Italy:
14th in the 3DS Only All-Time Charts
Still outside of the Overall All-Time Charts (but it's almost there)

UK:
8th in the 3DS Only All-Time Charts
13th in the Overall All-Time Charts

Germany:
17th in the 3DS Only All-Time Charts
Outside of the Overall All-Time Charts

France:
14th in the 3DS Only All-Time Charts
Outside of the Overall All-Time Charts

UK is strongly the biggest territory for digital sales.

I have a feeling that we'll see the impact of this more and more with the next gen with more day one digital sales. Hopefully Nintendo/MS/Sony will start giving out some digital sales numbers or the PAL charts (and Japan/US threads) will become less relevant.

Are you saying this just due to the amount of reviews, or it's because there are other indications as well?

It's 1,290 for the whole PAL territory, posted earlier in the thread. Comparison with other titles/possible additional infos? I'm pretty interested.

I'm crossing my fingers for decent digital sales. I got my copy from PSN. It's a really good port so it'd be disheartening if it doesn't sell.

I tried to get it on launch but it had sold out at the two (small) places I tried. And I've been wary of being spoiled.

The 137MB I'm DL'ing right now says I only have 79 seconds left. Instant gaming is frikkin' great!

Caveat: Although I did have to update the Store and the System Software too. I should also check out what's on offer as a PS+ member. Gah, too much to do...

It looks like it has a chance. The game has really good word of mouth and it seems to be selling out at quite a few places, and you know Sony had to have shipped out a lot of units with all the marketing and with it being ND's newest IP.

I think it's tracking above all the Uncharted games in the UK. The 48% drop is really small for this type of game. Hell it dropped less then a really anticipated Nintendo game, which opened with lower numbers to begin with. And it did all this while having shortages, good stuff.

Btw does anybody know how much Bioshock and Tomb Raider fell in their second weeks?

It has more than Tomb Raider which had a massive sale close to launch (went down to £20), and even though TR is usually £50 TLOU must have done pretty well with day one download, being £40 and using a different download system.
I would LOVE to know sales figures on PSN though.

Good to see TLOU still going strong. I don't think any game will have great legs so near the end of a systems life, but we'll see.

AC still up there too, be interesting to get the YoY growth hardware figures when Nintendo next reports.

Anyone think it just could be too late now for the Wii U over here to make an impact. I know there are games coming down the line but the console has zero mindshare and with the Xbox One and PS4 on the horizon I just think even with new software the console sales will still be sluggish.

It’s not even doing 1k a week at the moment and hasn’t done for months. I know there has been a software drought but 1000 units is nothing and for it not to do even that means even with new software its going to take a miracle for the sales to improve tenfold and remain at that number for a consistent period.
