We have some information about new songs being removed from the Rock Band Music Store. As mentioned in the previous blog post (available below), a limited number of song licenses for Rock Band DLC songs are expiring. This will be occurring on a quarterly basis. We wanted to give you a heads up that the following songs are scheduled to be removed from the store on June 30, 2013. If you already own them, they will still be in your library, and you will be able to re-download them if necessary.

Tokio Hotel - "Monsoon"
Die Toten Hosen - "Hier Kommt Alex"
Les Wampas - "Manu Chao"
Them Terribles - "Bullets & Guns"
The Material - "Moving to Seattle"
Crooked X - "Rock 'n' Roll Dream"
Vesuvius - "Promised Land"

You have 30 days to purchase these songs before they go away from the stores. As noted, you'll be able to re-DL them when needed, you just won't be able to buy them as a new user. This applies to the 360, Wii, and PS3.

Of note, Promised Land is free and is required for one of RB3's achievements and an in-game goal. If you haven't gotten it yet, now would be a good time. Hier Kommt Alex is not playable in RB3 or Blitz, but you can play it in RB1 or 2.

Anyway, does that mean that Harmonix is removing only the ability to purchase these songs individually or are future gamers also unable to get these songs via the Rock Band 1 song transfer/download token thingamajig?

Purchase individually. RB1 exports off the disc, I believe those export into eternity. People have asked them though.

Just a friendly bump to remind you that there's a week left.

Also since I last posted in here, they did clarify the exports are untouched. You'll still be able to acquire the dropped songs via exporting.

I can't even buy Rock Band songs, considering they are not available in my region's marketplace. Like, AT ALL.

Make a US account and buy some MS Points off Amazon. I imported the game before it was available in my country so half my DLC is on my US account.
