Deep Down, new PS4 games, GT6, lots of new Vita stuff, new Vita model, Vita TV etc. I don't think this conference was fitting for TLG. From what I've been told, it isn't dead. And unless I've been misinformed, I think it'll be a TGS main announcement, if it's even the same game by now.

Man, why am I allowing myself to be hopeful again by reading this... :-(

Personally I fear that TLG won't be shown at TGS, or even mentioned at all. It's the last part of that sentence that bums me out even more than the first part.

And while I know that "entitlement" is a contested term here, I still feel that after buying a PS3 for TLG when Sony showed the game a few years in a row, I am entitled to at least get a status update on TLG once in a while. I mean, either cancel the game outright or give us an occasional new screen or something Sony, please!

Also, a game disappearing from the face of the earth like this (and a high profile and highly anticipated game at that) is quite uncommon isn't it? Sure, games get cancelled all the time, but TLG's existence is just covered up completely it seems. A real shame!

Overall though, I did like the conference, in part because of GAF's reactions of course ;-)

It doesn't have to be totally exclusive, but just get it as a timed exclusive for next year.

That and MGSV would make great timed exclusives for the system, if its feasible.

I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I remember Game Informer mentioning that when Square announced XV and KH3 for the XBox One they wouldn't confirm whether or not they'd release simultaneously with the PS4.

I was actually more disappointed by the Vita's showing than the PS4 one.

Here the new titles they announced today from what I remember:

• Phantasy Star Nova (2014)
• Soul Sacrifice Delta (re-release with new features ) / March 2014 releases date and hinted at the possibility of a sequel in 2015.
• Gundam Breaker (Oct 31, 2013), a port of the PS3 game.
• Yakuza Ishin (Feb 2014), Also on PS3 and PS4.
• Terraria Vita for Japan (2013??)
• Danganronpa: Another Episode (2014)
• New Deception/ Kagero game (no release date).

I'm not really sure what was officially announced before hand or just hinted at or what, but i'd guess 4 new games.

final fantasy 14 and yakuza ishin were known, but this is the first solid info we really have on them like release dates etc.

Was a good catch up show that laid the foundations for the future TGS stuff.

Btw I think it was a great show. Too bad that japanese gamers have to wait until Feburary but launching with Yakuza, Dinasty Warriors and a Final Fantasy beta is much more appealing than launching with Knack

Also Gundam, Idolmaster, Earth Defence Force, Dream Club, Guilty Gear and Lily Bergamo from Suda/Grasshopper have been announced on PS4.

And tons of Vita love with Phantasy Star Nova, Samurai Warriors 4, Kagero, Soul Sacrifice Delta, plus Vita 2000 and Vita TV.

Love the idea of Vita TV... I'm wondering if there is any possibility that it's gonna be able to play PS2 games. It should be great for psOne and PSP game, but I think it's going to have a lot of restriction for Vita games. I think they are going to mimic the front- back touchscreen of Vita thanks to a combination of L2 R2 and the two sticks, but it is still short of a microfone and a camera to emulate the functionality of the Vita....
Still, I think that with that price point and form factor, it should be pretty popular and, hopefully, increase the quantity of developers interested in Vita
