Well with the way Pikmin 3 charted surely the Wii U must have done better than last month.

But good lord 96k. This is some crazy decline.

I don't see how MS can justify these numbers in their number one territory.

It's been 5 years since $200/$300 pricing was established, the 360 deserves better.

*spits out coffee*

96k..best? Apocalypse coming for all consoles involved. Wii U and Vita commit suicide off a cliff clearly.

Microsoft PR:
As Yusuf Mehdi, Xbox corporate vice president of marketing, strategy and business development, mentioned last week, Xbox One is proving to be the best place for games, with our exclusive titles winning over 100 awards at E3 and driving pre-order increases of 200 percent in European markets after gamers first played our blockbuster line-up at gamescom—And we look forward to showing off more of these incredible gaming experiences on the show floor at the Tokyo Game Show next week.

hahaha, wow

The only good thing is seeing Mario and Luigi and Pikmin in the top 10.
Xbox 360: 96K is really low. So PS3 , Wii-U and Wii numbers will be painfull.
Hope that 3DS still does decent numbers.

Where are the splits by console?
Or is it in the order the consoles are listed in?

It's the order the platform is listed in.

Which really, it's not surprising considering the Wii is dead as dogshit.

Minecraft + Xbox is the new Mario + Nintendo for the kid market.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Given 360 is down 50.3%, with the hypotesis other hardware had similar drops, and even including Wii U, something must be up for sure, since overall hardware drop is 40%...no?

Direct comparisons are difficult. The game that Infinity most closely resembles, Skylanders from Activision, sold about 100,000 starter kit units in October 2011, its first month in stores. Disney spent lavishly to market the release of Infinity, which cost more than $100 million to develop.

Seems DI did better in its first month than Skylanders.

Order the consoles are listed.

Interesting that Microsoft implies that Payday 2 (360) outsold NCAA (360) and that NCAA didn't even chart in the top ten by individual sku

Microsoft doesn't actually order by sales.

We found this out when they listed Aliens above Dead Space 3 which would be impossible unless Dead Space 3 sold like 80% on PS3.

The 360 started at $400 and sells at $300 after 8 years. MS can really milk this thing for years to come but they really need to drop the price.

I don't know why people are acting surprised that console numbers are bad.

It's the 8th year and the new consoles are on the horizon.
