At the very least, go the Tales route and add costumes that fit the character. I'd at least go with Cloud or Tifa at this juncture if we were taking inspiration from FF7.

Sigh. I have nothing to say anymore, really. I don't mind cameo costumes at all, just so long as they seem to be typical of the character a la Tales costumes. This just seems relatively atypical and chosen without a lot of thought behind it.

I don't think the cameo costumes are the issue. It's just that it simply feels atypical for the character.

I think that if the Yuna/Aeris costumes were costumes designed for someone like Serah or Vanille, I wouldn't have qualms about it because they'd fit the character.

You get used to it, just learn to ignore some people and thats it. Everyone is entitled to its opinion right? Even if it does get kind of annoying in these Lightning related threads. :X Don't let others hatred towards something lessen your enjoyment. Honestly people at this point are just on auto mode: Sees Lightning thread = "wtf?" "Toriyama sucks" etc...
