About 60% through the game so SPOILERS.


So, last night I completed the mission 'Bury the Hatchet' where you transport the stolen cars to a location and after the mission Franklin says something about not hearing from Michael. Because he is being held hostage by the chinese. At this point I was only able to switch between Trevor and Franklin and I called it a night and went to bed.

Now, fast forward to today and I downloaded the update and jumped straight into online without loading up SP. I created my character and it kicked me out of online whilst saving my online character. Ok... It kicked me straight back to Michael WTF?! He is meant to be unplayable because he's being held hostage and now I can't start the mission where Franklin goes to find him?

WTF?!

It looks like GTA Online is borking people's saves. Tread with caution.

This is why you hold a beta, Rockstar. smh.

weird same thing happened to me I thoughti was tripping. I have done a mission with him and Lester afterwards.

I was using Michael so I don't know. when I switched to Franklin, it was part of a mission where you're following some architect.

Sounds like it's borked it somehow anyway, everytime you get booted out of GTA Online it automatically goes to Michael.

which begs the question what the hell would happen if you chose to kill Michael at the end.

Looks like Fresh Meat is the only mission i've missed because of this glitch?

That happened to me, I'm further ahead but after the patch it skipped a mission for me as well. Luckily I had a save file well before, just gotta play through another 2 hours.
