Thanks, I'll give this a try someday !

I gotta admit though, after playing 1.13, the only three words I'm seeing when I check others T-RPGs are : not Jagged Alliance 2.
I am still waiting for dat worthy successor :(.

Silent Storm is pretty damn close. Seriously it's fantastic.

Anyone else having issues paying with Paypal through the Humble Store widgets right now? It's just hanging at the "processing" step after being handed back from Paypal.

I had the same problem some hours ago but It finally went through after a few minutes.

I'll let it sit a while, then. I'm getting a little paranoid about the multiple payments currently in limbo showing up in my Paypal account in a big lump :)

edit: and they charged me twice :(

Cool, now release MGS5 instead. Who cares about MGR?

Looks great, while it looks kind of like the beginning area of the game the environments look much more detailed. Most of the environments were kind of bland on the console version so I imagine they are doing some new art assets for the PC release which explains why it's taking a while.

Rising is great, even on consoles it was an absolute blast to play. Now if they were able to put wall running back in I'd be freaking amazed.

Maybe in the sequel (I sure hope so) :p It is a port after all.

A Flashback re-imagining? By the original creators? Wow. I had not heard this was coming.

I loved the original Flashback waaaaaay back when.

That Uplay integration.
Nothing like that feeling of instant turn off to just about any game for me.

I got excited for The Division for about a week, then I remembered the publisher. Forced Uplay integration, released after the console, no care given to PC specific issues (see: optimization, K/M controls, etc), Ubisoft's trademarked homogenization and dumbing down, Ubisoft's trademarked degradation from first showing to release.

I'm just lucky I dislike Ubisoft's output, I feel bad for people who generally enjoy their library.

What? How can you hate Rayman?

Um holy shit, I liked that Club level in DMC about 10 times more than any level in DMC4.

I remember my first time hitting that level, I didn't think anything in that game could top Bob but then

They expand when the village grows in prosperity and stuff outside the borders can also influence it, but yes, the borders can be extremely annoying. What's even more annoying is the random settlers starting a new town RIGHT NEXT TO ANOTHER ONE blocking off its expansion possibilities.
It gets better once you're past "the beginning", but it stays rather annoying.

Lots of good stuff in the patch notes.

And here they are

NOTE: PLEASE START A NEW GAME!

This is a major update featuring a new area, a completely new enemy type, new things to do, and numerous improvements and fixes.

Please see the summary for more information, although note that many entries are left intentionally vague so as not to ruin any surprises. That said, first-time players should beware that the list may still contain some minor spoilers. As always, let us know what you think!

Summary:
-A new area!
-A new enemy type!
-Additional notes, clues, etc.
-Revised the “talking skull” element.
-Lots of new or refined enemy behaviors.
-Added a save prompt when exiting the game and an autosave after shopping.
-Massive AI refactor for more consistent behavior with fewer “thoughtful pauses”.
-Massive enemy navigation and navmesh overhaul for better pathfinding and handling of situations where the player is unreachable.
-Improved enemy encounters in the otherworld.
-Various stealth refinements.
-Reworked some tutorial messages and added a couple of new ones to explain game mechanics people seem to consistently overlook.
-Enemy weapons no longer go flying when dropped.
-Charms are now auto-equipped in empty slots.
-Audio sliders are hooked up now.
-Lots of balance adjustments. Be warned the game got harder.
-Shortbow quiver works properly.
-Lots of visual tweaks, optimizations, and polish.
-Notes now use a script font.
-Esc key now works in the main menu.
-Equipped items are now marked in the Inventory menu.
-Scrollbars should look better and work more reliably.
-Bow animation polish.
-Fixed an issue where lightmaps could become irreversibly black in certain cases, causing shadows to appear pitch black and the otherworld to become featureless and very hard to navigate.
-Fixed potential issue where otherworld enemies could spawn in the normal world.
-Fixed a related issue where progression could get blocked in certain save/load situations.
-The South Gate will now only open in the normal world.
-Longbow now starts with 12 arrows instead of 20.
-Fixed issue where you could get the "nothing more to hear in this region" notice prematurely.

I loved the original Flashback waaaaaay back when.

The original Flashback was magical because it took the mechanics of Out of This World and made it into an adventure shooter. Reading the Steam Store review makes me think that whoever was the driving force of this new game wasn't in touch with or has lost that magic from the original.

"The team modernized gameplay mechanics, making the game more reactive, offering new features, like gadgets and an experience progression system. But the developers kept the original formula in mind: a fine balance between rolling and shooting, exploring remote space stations and obliterating hostile alien planets. " OfficeNo.jpg

I know its a long shot, but if I pay a greenlight fee, do the "developers" I list have to pay too to be part of the greenlight campaign?
