Given this is the first time GF has had to make SO many 3D models for a mainline game, I can forgive a smaller generation. Stuff that we've seen's been pretty good so far. If Gen VII is small as well, I'll not be very happy at all.

This is not a good excuse for a lack of new pokemon (if it's true). Seriously you're gonna let them off the hook like that? For a major developer and the amount of money these games make, 700+ plus low poly 3d models is nothing.

If the 70 thing is true, I doubt lack of resources is the reason for it.

70 new Pokemon is plenty, anyway. Generation VI has been more about the new features and mechanics than the next batch of Pokemon. They paid more attention to balancing the types and older Pokemon; this is exactly what Pokemon fans have been asking for. We already have six hundred somethin' Pokemon. We don't need another 150 every generation.

Meh,, the best part of a new generation fore me is seeing all the new Pokemon. GF pretty much showed us 80% of the dex through corocoro and that sucks
