I honestly think, coming from someone who hates Blaziken and Serperior, that is the worst final evo ever. It's terrible. Absolutely terrible.

I think I'll be rolling without a starter in all honesty. Want to do a totally gen VI run but... not sure what to do now.

Now that we know all the starters, here are my collective thoughts:

Delphox has the best typing, but the worst design.
Jagernut has the worst typing, but the best design.
Greninja has solid typing and solid design.

Only things left to see are the stats and movepool, which Greninja is on top of as far as we know. We'll see what more information we get. Hoping Jagernut is extremely defensive.

EDIT: Apparently the name is confirmed to be "Chesnaught."

Although blurry. I'd say that Chesnaught is Grass/Fighting.

Ok so I've been reading the past....several pages O.O but here are my thoughts:

Fennekin final evo is ok.

Froakie final evo is AWESOME.

Chespin final evo is pretty cool, better than quilladin. Kinda jarring at first, but I feel it'll look cool in battle and probably be defensive and stuff.

Even though I concede Greninja to be the best design, I'm still #TeamChespin!

GF has said that after disappointment with the 2nd gen's starters just becoming bigger versions of the first forms that they design them to be more surprising.

Also, colour me shocks that Greninja and Hawluchah were real. And that Pokebeach's source got the starters wrong. Absolutely shocked.

Yeah, I'm just going to have to box the starter straight away - they are all too terrible to use for a playthrough. Thank god Caterpie seems to be available on the first route, Butterfree can be my main Pokemon just like in Yellow.
