I know and I'm not trying to criticize. I really appreciate that you want to give us heads up and all. The problem comes in when people go insane (I am guilty of this as well) and blow things up without actually knowing anything.

1. Dragon Quest will return to Playstation. This doesn't mean it's exclusive. Discussions at the moment.

2. Capcom has the next Street Fighter already in the works (don't know exact stage so kind of pointless really), even though Ono said a few months ago about the resources not being allocated or whatever. They're doing something though so not sure how that fits in what he said.

3. Someone should go prod the Tales head about PS4 Tales. They have one in concept. So, I expect next Tales after the next PS3 Tales? Safe bet. I don't think this that big news though. Although good if you're hoping for JRPGs to arrive a little earlier this time.

Good news comes in the form of press releases. You don't have to anonymously leak good news.

Bad news is not good news, so it tends to be held back until the last moment possible. That's why it leaks out anonymously sometimes.

I'm impressed how well information is leaking out without retribution to be honest. No idea where the ninjas are these days.

Microsoft released a video recently (BEFORE THIS THREAD) for the media to use to show what the Xbox One Dashboard experience will be like, and IGN decided to use it. You're trying to make a connection with something that doesn't exist. IGN was going to upload it anyways. It's what they do, upload gaming news and content, this was a new video that came out early today, of course they were going to upload it.

Honestly, I agree with the tweets he made right after sharing the video.

I do not believe, for a second, that MS went that route for the party system. Some wires got crossed or some info dissected incorrectly. Any number of people down the line of architects and lead developers would have let someone know that doing things that way would be a bad idea.

That's software development at large corporates for you. Though, how this happened at Microsoft of all places is beyond comprehension, if true. I was stunned when I read about the party system arch thing because it just sounds so monumentally stupid... so yeah, I'm still not convinced about that one either.

I'm sure it will work just fine at launch, even if it's not 100% as the devs intended it. I bet there's a lot of people working hard hours right now to make sure both consoles will offer a stable experience.

Kinda getting a bit sick about all these rumors, but at the same time I think they might be valuable info for those on the fence about jumping into next gen at launch. Still I think we should be positive, as I don't believe that Sony or MS will release a system that is essentially broken at the OS level.

Fun fact a lot of dutch people speak english as a second language.

In reality though, most of them don't speak it all that well when it comes to pronunciation.

As for the dutch language itself, there are so many different dialects (as i'm sure they have in most countries) that i can't see how this tech will ever be as problemfree and failurefree as buttonprompts. When i then think of all the money abd recourses invested... Damn.

But again, if it turns out that all the tech will work perfectly then they will have my eternal highest respect.

Not that much of a deal imo. Will be fixed in future patches. PS4 starts without all stuff working as well. As long as basic functionality runs fine (e.g. playing games) it could pass without much trouble for MS.

Unclear at the moment but I think PSN will be far less buggy than XBL, whether it can handle load or not is an entirely different question
