"60fps".

On youtube. lol.

Looks really good, but what's with the same song in every trailer.

Most importantly, physics/car behavior look really good now.

I'm still not sure why Forza 5 has a "comic mischief" ratings descriptor.

Still pumped for this game, though.

YouTube :-(

I was hoping to see footage with buildings and trees casting shadows on the track so I could determine if they had added dynamic shadows or if they are still baked into the textures.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure I'll get the game day 1 when it launches in Europe later on 2014.

Awesome stuff. Open wheel is a great addition. It would be great to see some 80s/early 90s F1 cars - Mclaren mp4/4 or mp4/5.

When i first saw the trailer i really thought the game looked great, now i don't know. Apart from the sheer amount of people in the stands it just doesn't strike me as next gen, physics/car behavior looks good though.

Looks like they fixed the proportions of Indy. That track on FM4 was absolutely wrong. The sun was also positioned way too south.

I'm glad they took the time to fix the track I've known and grown up with.

It looks super smooth though. I am getting this as the pack in game with my console. I am not a big racing game fan outside F1 but I can see me putting in a good few hours on this one.

Doesn't look great, but it's hard to tell from a YouTube video.

The problem with this game is the lack of a dynamic lighting system. It makes it hard for this to look truly 'next-gen', especially compared to DriveClub.

But 60 fps is great.

Yeeessssss ... The split time is positioned in a better way then the previous Forza's. My prayers have bin heard..
Now just put the speed and taco meter in the correct position for front cam and I' m all set.

The YouTube compression makes it look like an Xbox (original) game, loose so much detail.

Those complaining about the lighting, I think it looks much more realistic. Especially the overcast clouds.

I don't know if it is just the poor quality video but except for the atom and the overpass none of the other items have a shadow. This is really bad when they are driving near the cones and can see the car shadow but there is nothing on the cones. Otherwise video looks great.

There's no shadow of under your car. If you look at the left/right tires, no shadow under neath it. If they put some AO there, it'll help.

I'd have to agree with people before me. Somehow the graphics don't seem to come close to the trailers that have been shown near E3 (with 'all in-game footage' in the trailers).

Might have to do with the circuits or the terrible compression that the latest vids have, but it seems strange to me.

But keep up the good work :) I'm sure it'll be a great game and that is what is most important.

Edit: At 1:06 in the "Exclusive Forza 5 Gameplay - Open Wheel at Indy" do we look into 'nothingness' through the rearview mirror?

In chase cam there's a very light dynamic car shadow, but it's turned off in cockpit view for some reason.

Silverstone has never been a looker, because it's a bland as hell track in the real world. The open suspension stuff is making me happy, very happy! It'd be nuts if we could take the warthog around this time...

the problem being it'll stay that way until the race ends, no matter how many laps.

I don't think this is what I want it to be...

Nah, the cockpit shadow is still there. It's weird. It's like.. everything that's the top of the car would show?... like... You can see the shadows of the bars and stuff, but I didn't notice anything from the tires down casting shadows. I mean, normally in a cockpit view, you wouldn't be able to see that far down anyway, so why waste shadow rendering on stuff you won't see? But that car is open, so it breaks the illusion.

Why are the vids not 60fps?

Because Youtube only supports 30. Check Gamespot. They have them in 60... though, lower quality.

looks as good as a racing game ingame video of real life tracks replicas could ever look.

what did i just say ? yeah well it looks perfect, you go and compare with replay footage of some arcade racer's fictional track.

this is just beautiful.

I was watching the vids on Gamespot. Pretty sure they're not 60fps. I watched the Ferrari trailer to be sure (actually 60fps) and these new vids are not playing at 60 frame on my end.

The car models are nice. But those track scenarios are very poor... im not impressed, as I was when I saw its 1st gameplay leaked.
