Especially when considering that we never received official Sony confirmation on the PS4 CPU clock speed, while the GPU clocks and Tflops are confirmed by MS and Sony. Wow.

Since when does the Cell in PS3 have 3 cores? 1 core with 6 SPEs that aren't really cores. Where the hell did 3 come from? Meaningless comparison anyway.

I generally don't like to call pieces of games journalism biased because it's usually a cop out for potentially legitimate reasons for the misinformation..

Yet another hachet job being preformed here for Microsoft. They're happy to give their readers the benifit of doubt that they understand what the amount of CPU cores and the CPU speed do, while it favours MS. But they don't give them the more important ones of the GPU while they go the other way.

The incompetence of the first comparison chart leads me to believe that they have no idea what they're talking about, not about downplaying the difference. Either way, there's lots of smart people at gamespot that could have easily checked this before going to print.

if the PS4 doesn't support Wi-Fi direct, I'd love to know how my Vita connects directly to it, because it sure as shit isn't using Bluetooth.
I don't see what the benefit of Wi-Fi direct is on the Xbox One other than smartglass support without needing to go through a router, which the PS4 matches in features, even if not with the Wi-Fi direct branding.

After all, the Xbox One has a faster CPU, the same amount of GDDR RAM with a little number that's different at the end, it has HDMI in, it has Snap, it has Skype, it has HD Video Chat, it has WI-FI Direct connectivity, it supports 8 controllers, it has Kinect, it has TitanFall... AND all of this for only $100 more?!?!?

Sigh. Such a comparison isn't much worth without stating how powerful those GPUs are. It shouldn't be that hard to add something like this:
Xbox One GPU:
AMD Radeon with 1.31 TFLOPS (~1.18 usable for games, rest for Kinect)
PS4 GPU:
AMD Radeon with 1.84 TFLOPS (all usable for games)
Xbox One GPU:

I guess it was important to be specific about the CPU clock and nothing else. And the number of cores on Cell too....on the name at least. Or not because it has 8 and not 7 and shit... maybe 3... jesus this list.
1) CPU - PS3 does not have 7 core, nor does it have 3 cores.
2) RAM- Xbone should be DDR3
3) Storage space - they are counting from launch to now? since they have ps3 as 20gb [one of the launch sku] -500gb (which should be 12gb that released recently) - which means that the 360 should be from 0 - 320gb since there was a launch sku with no hdd. Same with wifi; 360 launch skus don't have wifi.
4) Optical Drive - 360 has DVD
5) Pretty sure PS4 has HD video chat. 360 should have cross game chat listed
6) PS3 supports up to 8 Controllers (7 via bluetooth)
