Hmm, just about a week ago. This is the second time this year, feeling dat VGX reveal.

As you can see from the screenshot the filing date for Lara Croft: Reflections was on November 11, 2013. This is the second time this trademark pops up. Now the big question is, is this a next gen sequel for Tomb Raider? It is rather interesting that this trademark has popped up twice this year. Square Enix has yet to officially comment on the issue.

I'm going to take this name to mean that 1.) Lara will be able to swim this time, and 2.) The game will reflect the gameplay of past Tomb Raiders with an emphasis on platforming, exploration and puzzle solving, with minimal combat.

Yes, it was. They actually made a fairly big deal of that difference, emphasizing that it was a spin-off.

Of course that could also mean this is just some mobile game.

I'm still not sure what's supposed to be going on with the "Lara Croft" games; when the first was in dev they said that it was a way to experiment with ideas. Then after it was out they said they'd stopped making them, and now they keep hinting at a revival. I hope they do try more with it since it's a way for them to make games that don't have to be fully mainstream.

I really hope this is a sequel to Lara Croft: Guardian of Light. That game was FANTASTIC, easily one of my top five XBLA/PSN games. Playing the game in local co-op was an absolute blast.

I wish this was a collection of the first 5 games remade in HD with improved graphics and the gameplay kept intact.
