So there is a DLC for LBP Vita

Other than losing points for being on the Vita, is there a reason the Vita version of Blackgate scores a 61 while the 3DS version of Blackgate has a 71?

❤I gave Blackgate a 4/10.
maybe it's higher on 3DS because the magic of 3D effect? I dunoo, but that game is not 70% or "average" at all.
German mainstream press Spiegel Online also had a glowing review of the game after they have just played 1 1/2 hours of the game (it's their format). The Tearaway article was twice to thrice as long as for other games. The author really liked it.

The 3DS version only has 4 review entries at Metacritic so the low scores don't make it into the metascore. And 4 reviews isn't really much.
It doesn't make any sense but 'Vita tax'
Worse offender is actually VLR which also scores 5 points higher on 3DS although it has a savegame breaking bug the Vita doesn't have and of course the Vita version looks much better.
Thought the same thing.... Seems fun though, the controls seem somewhat iffy on the aiming end so far though.
Edit: Actually pinching to zoom in makes the aiming better.
I heard the LBP DLC is new levels as well so definitely getting that. First time right?
Game downloaded a 32mb patch and ended up being 62mb for me. Controls are actually pretty decent - just got to get used to switching between manual and smart cursor and knowing how they work.
Although digging in smart cursor can be a little finicky - really need to know how to point the analogues but it's a lot faster than manual mode.

Started a new world in Terraria with a bit more breathing room (and now that I know I'm supposed to be collecting ores lol) - lot more space between the corruptions and got a merchant already. Next up is the grapple hook and some hearts. Would be nice to play in MP though.
I should say - the framerate doesn't feel quite as solid in this world in some parts...more snowy areas closeup may have something to do with it despite being a medium sized world instead of large. Hopefully when it gets that update they improve that too, no doubt they'll have enough people giving feedback (hopefully). 1156 ratings in the UK store within the first week.
And just thought I'd ask again - Anyone made any SoundShapes levels? Would love to try some of VitaGAF's.

Playing DBZ right now and it looks quite good. The shaders and lighting remind me more of a PS3 game with lower res. Definitely one of the better looking subnative games out there.
Runner 2 looks and runs beauifully with native res and 60fps. Such a joy. Mutant Mudds looks awesome too, though it's admitedly a less graphically intensive game.

Console version of Runner 2 looked gorgeous. Can't wait to see how it looks real time on a Vita. But your screenshot will have to do for now
.Lumines is awesome; if you liked the demo you'll love the full game. Speaking of which, I still need to clear Voyage mode. I've had the game since launch and still can't beat it lol.
Technically impressive for 3ds, underwhelming for Vita.(my thoughts)
Missed the sale anyway.

I love Folklore as well; one of my favorite games of last generation, and Gurumin is also awesome, although I haven't finished it yet; played it on my PSP many years ago

It looks basically just like the PS3 version, except a LITTLE more aliased. It's really good looking on the Vita and I can't wait to play more of it.

Lone Survivor is really confusing. I haven't got a clue what I'm doing or where I'm supposed to go. I know the point of that is to help with the atmosphere, but nevertheless I think the game would have benefited by providing a little more direction.

I agree, I stopped playing because at one point I was just going in circles. I'm going to return to it eventually because I really enjoyed it, but I think I'll have to do it with a walkthrough by my side.

Hope for localised Japanese games and indie support in the west. If we're lucky Sony migh have 1 or 2 big internally developed games out for each holiday.What's the outlook for the vita? I love the vita but unsure what the future holds for the system in terms of content. I am excited for PS4 remote play but still would like some software offerings beyond that.

Is it relatively easy to buy things from different countries's PSNs? I mean is there some workaround to the fact we still don't have a Netflix app in the EU for PSV?

Amazing downloadable games coming next year along with some Japanese localizations. If you want a lot of mid-tier budget versions of games like Assassin's Creed or Uncharted, well, it's nice to want things.
This game is a VitaGAF favorite. Almost everyone liked it. It can be a bit tough at times but nothing too bad. I think you'll enjoy it.

I don't know anything about Dragonball Z (the show, the characters, etc.) but the demo for the game seems pretty fun. Have no idea what I'm doing but I'm having fun doing it.
My only concern is that the items you can "buy" with Dragonball Points only lasts 1 minute? Is this going to be a game with microtransactions in it?

The Vita DLC level is coming next year. I love LBP Vita and I love DC comics, so this is a no brainer for me. But I'm not sure if I want to play the LBP2 content and pay the full $25 for the season pass.

Wow, that was a lot to buy today. This DBZ demo is great. Was planning on buying anyway, but now I'm doing it out of more than "new Vita game" habit. Gonna get the UK release.
Hopefully we get a few good games a year. I just rebought a vita after selling mine off last year. I don't really care what the game is (indie, Japanese, or big studio games) I just want content.
